Player in-game creations

Hi hi, I suggest that we should or can make a system for those who want to make in-game items and stuff. After sending in the creations, staff and Bluehole studios can look at them and decide whether it's good to use in-game or not.

My previous game when I was little was FreeRealms and it had that special system for players to do that. However, I don't know if they still use it. But we can ask or create our own system.

  • this is a really good idea! Having player-created mounts/cosmetics would be great!
  • That would be a great idea! :)
  • Yep. Back in FR, alot of players would make clothing items, house items, mounts, extra. It was really fun.
  • With this, it could help Tera really popular. I suggest a few more ideas such as when players are making their items and staff/Bluehole studios are deciding, it should be during special events or idk when they have time. For example if a player makes Halloween items then they should be put on during Halloween.

We can also have a certain pole to decide what items sound best during this time and put them into categorizes, like all clothing ideas in one side, mounts in another, extra. For example: Below

voters can vote for: a new car mount, a new dinosaur mount or water mount ( just a random example. )

Another positive side from this all will mean, Tera staff and BlueHole Studios won't have to rush so much and do so much, it will give them a time to think/relax/whatever.

It will give us players a chance to show off our art/developing skills and we can use that to help the company and the rest of the world. We can put our char names on who created the item too, so no one steals it.

Downside is to this, that some players will put in their creation and it might not be picked until later in the future or might have to make it better. Which can cause some sadness, however, that doesn't mean those players can't make something else. It will give them a chance to expand their imaginations.

There should also be an option with the category I will do my best to explain this part: Once the system is made and players are using it to make items, there should be option buttons or bins for once they start making the item or item.

Example: *I open up the player creation and the creation gives me these choices on what item I want to make: Button 1 ( Mounts/pets ), Button 2 ( Clothing/Costumes ), Button 3 ( Armor/Weapons ), extra. I want to make a mount, so I click on the Mount/pets option. I have finished making my mount, writes my char name or username on the creation and name it the mount I made, I click on the finish button and the file/pic/3D whatever goes automatically straight to the Mounts/pets player creation folder. So now Tera staff/BlueHole Studios can click on the player creation Mounts/pets folder and see my username and item name, they click on it and it opens up showing off what I made ( No one but Staff or BlueHole studios will see this. They will only have access to the items they can view and use, as well as everything else cause they are staff o.o. Until they decide whether or not to use my mount as a real in-game thing. )*

Rules should be: No stealing from other games! No inappropriate items such as no one can make a [filtered]! No racist naming items or usernames in general! Crude maybe can use . . .idk staff will have to come up with the rules.

If any of this makes any sense. o.o I tried. xD ~Moonpelt
  • Oh oh and um there should be a limit on somethings like no one can make 100000000000000 items for just an Elin at once, that's ridiculous. Make some items for the other races/genders too.
