  • Hmm....

Glaiver/Glaivier - (Fits the weapon, but not a real word.)

Paragon - (Doesn't sound fitting despite the cool factor.)

Valkyrie - (Also not fitting, despite cool factor...)

    Dancer - (Too bland.)

Moondancer - (Eh...feels like two words mashed together despite the attempt.)

Lunardancer - (Feels even more mashed together than the previous.)

    -_- Hmm...

Other possibilities : Moonblade, Moonglaive, Lunarblade, Lunarglaive, Runeblade, Runeglaive...Lunarknight? No. Bleh.

Feels like no single-word title really fits well enough.

    Lunablade...

    (To be continued?)

Alrighty guys I thought we could have some fun with this so post here your reasoning for why a certain name should be chosen. Remember being humorous is extra fun :chuffed: .

ok then, how about CHARLIE MURPHY !!!!!! lol. jk. Charlie can be a girls name. again to the powers that be, I was joking and they said we can be humorous.

That's the thing with words. None of them were real until people started using them enough that their meaning became commonly agreed on. New words are created routinely these days, so this isn't a strong argument against it.
  • All of these suck. They either sound gawky or don't even fit the class at all.

I was hoping at least the options would be... halfway decent... Who thought of these? :l
  • I don't mind if it is Moondancer or Valkyrie, though Valkyrie doesn't quite fit the lore of the class, I can still accept and go with it.

What would your halfway decent name for the class be?

If by the reason you list, a lot of game/novel/comic and such would need a rework for it. A lot of time they take a name for the meaning it could have, but not just lore/myth. There also second creation, doesn't need to complete follow the lore/myth or the org is.
Let ask a stupid question: Can anyone proof that lore/myth is the only fact?
  • There's a poll?

    Classy McClassface!!!
  • What about Aloken?

    *votes for valkyrie*
*doesn't know valkyries are technically norse angels*
    *castanics are basically demons*

    BRILLIANT
And the only reason why some people don't vote for moondancer is cause it "doesn't fit" the "one word class" tera has been doing for years
I think it's fine for a class with more than 1 word, just to shake things up a little
  • Clearly moon dancer is a more appropriate and fitting name than Valkyrie.

I present the following footage as supporting evidence:

Why not just name it Lunar Dancer like it is in Korea?

because it is not named Lunar Dancer in Korea, it is a placeholder name in tera community, but not a direct translation which would be more like Moonlight Warrior.

I don't think there is a good argument for any name, so I would just choose whichever sounds cool.

Name: 3D Ninth-century silver Valkyrie pendants from Denmark.
Believed to be a Valkyrie 3D Figure/Model, was found near the village of Hårby in the southwest part of the Danish island of Funen, December 28th, 2012.
As you can see, she has a sword upright on her right hand, and a shield on the other hand.

As you can see in your own text is only believed and not proved.

    That's a fact.
