I am going to say that it doesn't matter which name wins, at the end ppl will whine non-stop becuase the name they liked was not the one that most ppl voted.
There are debate about why that's (figure) isn't a Valkyrie but common soldier and such but in the end, they decided that it is a Valkyrie Perhaps I missed that out and their debate is pretty much long to describe here.
Proof?

Mogens Bo Henriksen, an archaeologist and curator at the Odense city museum, on Funen island near the find site, described the figurine as "unique" and said: "There can hardly be any doubt that the figure depicts one of Odin's valkyries as we know them from the sagas as well as from Swedish picture stones from the time around AD700," he said.
calm down you nerds, you act like odin will tear you asunder if valkyrie gets chosen. chill my dudes
i chose valkyrie for sure, moondancer sounds clunky and valkyrie profile was one of the best original playstation games, i expect to see plenty of valks with the names lenneth/silmeria/hrist if valkyrie does indeed get chosen.
(probably a few gwendolyn as well)
Whining non-stop is the lifeblood of gaming forums.
Now you came with something that someone didn't even prove to be a valkyrie figure as a proof for your post?
Bad move.
Did you know that in danish stone pictures, the ones specialist on the matter say with no doub are valkiries, don't have a sword and shield?
Nice try anyway.
Oh yeah wow, of course you don't want to read my source.
Here it is anyway:
Detectorist Morten Skovsby found the first 3D valkyrie figurine late last year at Hårby on Funen. She wears a floor-length dress and has her hair in the typical knot we’ve seen for instance on the Lady of Sättuna in Kaga, and she’s armed with sword and shield. The interlace decoration on the rear of her dress should permit pretty tight dating once specialists get to see it clearly, but she’s definitely from the Vendel or Viking Periods, and I’d say probably from the 8th/9th/10th century.
The figurine, which would probably have been a pendant, is partly gilded, while other areas are colored black by niello, a mixture of copper, silver, and lead sulphides used as an inlay. The valkyrie wears a long patterned dress and carries a double-edged Viking sword in her right hand and a shield protecting her body in her left. Dating to about A.D. 800
The thumb-sized figurine is made of gilded silver, with some black niello inlay decoration. The Valkyrie is sturdily dressed, armed with a double-sided Viking sword and a round shield, her hair neatly twisted into a long ponytail forming a loop, suggesting it may have been worn as a pendant.
And yes of course, "Official source"
About the image I put earlier, is currently located at National Museum of Denmark.

Valkyrie Figure of silver with gilding and niello.
National Museum of Denmark mark it as one of their asset.
Now tell me, did National Museum of Denmark selling lies?
There was no need for me to read the links you posted as I already read them before and that is only Teories of them.
You know what Theory is right?
If you are going to take something tha is believed but not proved to be a fact and try to make others think as you then no need to continue this.
I am not ignorant to try to deceive me or deceive others to beleive what I want them to think is the truth.
As I said before nice try but there is not actual proof that figure is a valkirie but only hyphotesis especialist came to believe.
It's not my decision to make those goods (artifact) are Valkyrie or not, it's those who works in related area (history and such) to make the decisions. The fact that National Museum of Denmark write down that artifact as "Valkyrie" because it's their job to clarified which is it and which is not. Neither can I or you deny their decisions.
They did also write down that old Nordic Religion and Gods as a fact and part of their history. Those Nordic gods were worshipped as early as the Iron Age, at least 300 years before the beginning of the Viking period (between 400 and 800 AD). Which later they replace the old Nordic Religion with Christianity during the Viking Age.
Now, I can't convince you their Gods are "real", and any other "gods" in other "Religions" are "real" too. But the fact that Valkyrie is part of old Nordic Religion and mythology, you can't deny that.
But of course, I can't forced you to "believe" the old Nordic Religion, old Nordic Gods as "True". It's like trying to convince you to change your religion (if you have any).
