You wouldn't pick a ranged dps at all? What even 1 groundpound and your entire team is dead because they're all going to be in the same area as well as lack of burst damage.
Zerkers are already particularly annoying because mocking shout with the ability to absorb alot of staggers. while dishing out plenty of damage irritating knock downs and so on. While Lancers although quite slow have leashes and giga's. So if there is ranged. The lancer will at least be able to keep them locked down enough with zerker pressure to make them hurt not nearly as much. A warrior while not engaged will be able to stun people long enough for a great many things to be done. If not that then at least solo the hell out of them as well as be particularly irritating.
so long as the zerker decided he's not going to [filtered] up . Either the warriors or Lancers combos by thunderstriking . them this fight will be quite painful to deal with.
You also forget warriors got back stab which covers a nice bit of distance. plus a zerker's inescapable doom that can slow enemy targets in a AOE form of Lancers ability to slow movement speed+attack speed. Zerkers also have the ability to fear allowing for good disrupts and peeling. Also good for helping combos to be hammered out. this combo will wreak alot of hell and havoc. As warriors can counter reapers quite well as can zerker's counter ninja's.
2 good healers can keep a party up for quite sometime and with at least two of the people being plate that adds survivability.
Zerker also has The ability unbreakable allowing them to survive a bit longer. This combo is extremely irritating. Do to the amount of peeling stunning and potential to get kds going while having a high amount of survivability for the team.

I also put warrior in my 5man party cause the class is broken locking up 1 person and if cascade hits it can be effective. There are no good zerkers left on this game i'm assuming the person playing it avg at best I don't expect any of their cc's to used effectively and even if they did if theres a reaper, zerker is basically useless without one of these anti kd skills.
This is all theoretical ofc you could have some really experienced players and they will destroy an avg party of 5 but the way it plays out in my head is I watch people buff up anti kd stuff get their team giga'd or get regressed and die.

If you consider Rise to be strong he does PvP on fey Forrest . Ennok will be returning when lunar dancer release's to try the class. NS theirs. Handful of others still around including myself who goes by a different name ingame. So no not all the good zerkers are dead and gone they are not logging in a much or being PvE mains instead of PvP. Which makes sense considering this games getting catered to by PvE.
Wolf, and a handful of others are gone Wolf ended up quitting and giving his ac to a friend of his. He will probably not be returning.
Its an opinion that Shiver is Painful the zerk from CH?
