Hi all,

I am very new to this game? What's a good tank or dps class to play? How do i level up quick in this game? What's the endgame like?

I am from Australia and which server should i play?

    A good tank is Lancer

    A good dps is Archer/Sorcerer for ranged, Reaper for mid-range, Warrior/Ninja for melee (Not sure where slayers are at after the update).

    A good mix is Brawler (Melee tank/dps hybrid)

    You level up very quickly if you do the Kumas Royal battleground (reward is 2x 24 hour 100% exp boosts from killing stuff), then solo dungeons all the way to 60, where you start doing the story quests to 65.

    Endgame is a mix of solo content (Entry level gear, tier 9, Slaughter, as well as a way to obtain tier 10 -Guile), progressively harder 5-7 man dungeons (Tier 10 and materials to craft tier 11) and a 30 man 1-boss raid that lets you upgrade the 2nd highest tier (tier 11, Ambush) to the highest (tier 11, Behemoth).

    I wouldn't know which server has the biggest AU following, maybe someone can step in on that one ;o

    Hello, it really depends on your play style do you like melee or ranged?
    Brawlers are a 'dps type' tank but lancers are more party friendly - with party buffs and skills.
    the other off tanks - Zerk and Warr ... I dont really play so cant help there.

    My fav class is sorc as i like the hard hitting range mage type classes. Sorc, Warrior and Archer were the most recent to get 'buffed' so are strong ingame at the moment.

    Ultimately try them all and play the one you like.

    You can get to max level in a day if you rush, a level 65 can powerlevel you to 20 pretty quick and you go from there.

    Endgame - personally I like, but it can get boring/grindy for some (korean mmo for you). I really suggest just giving it a shot.

    Tank classes are Brawler and Lancer. If you want to see big red numbers, play brawler. If you want to be a support tank, try lancer but this class is ping dependant 100ms or less i guess. Brawler is more high ping friendly.

    DPS classes are: Berserker, Slayer, Warrior, Ninja, Sorcerer, Archer, Gunner, Reaper (you need a character lvl 40 or more in order to play this one). The first 4 ones are melee dps, and the rest range ones. Archer, ninja, gunner and i guess zerker too, are kinda ping dependant. Some people like to play melee dps and some people range ones, try the ones that you like.

    To lvl up fast, pick up a tank class and do story quests until lvl 20 and spam dungeons. I do not recommend to rush, because its funnier to go blind and slowly lvl up your first toon but thats my opinion.

    Its a MMORPG so endgame is grindfest, spam dungeons, battlegrounds, buy and sell stuff and sometimes we have events.

    Finally, i have no idea about the server question... I just can say NA TERA have 2 PVP65 servers (you cannot be killed until you reach the max lvl) and 3 PVE ones.

    archer,warrior, lancer, gunner and ninja are ping dependant, zerk is more ping friendly along with slayer and even brawler. if you want to get to do endgame content regularly without having to rely on a guild or static go to tr or mt, the yare the most populated servers and you may find more fellow australians there, the other servers are relatively quiet/dead.
