Gunner weapon

I'm currently using Dreadnaught Set and I'm considering upgrading to Slaughter Set but i noticed the the Slaughter weapon does not have the back damage bonus. Is it practical to keep my weapon on Dreadnuahgt or is the difference negligible that I could go Slaughter?

Im sure that double line top/bottom rerolable were merged to 1. Like mana on boots, crits on gloves. You as a damage dealer should definetly change upgrade your weapon + Slaughter belt should keep you going for a whie till you get the rest of your gear up and running with proper rolls
  • As far as I can tell they've just simplified the non-rollable stat lines. Dread gear has several lines giving different amounts of the same enhancement, Slaughter has just the one line but the value equals (or exceeds?) the combined values of the Dread lines.

Slaughter weapons are better than Dread weapons.

I've ran some personal test as well among the two, slaughter does more dps. Apparently the attack modifier > 6.9% back dmg.
  • Ow that's good to know. Thanks a bunch! :pleased:
  • New Gear (same goes VM7) is like 4% stronger than dread > Slaughter or starfall > VM7. The New gear doesnt have back dmg stat, so if ur attacks arent pretty decently from behind, its more than those 4% difference, upgrading weapons from dread is highly recommended. Gloves Boots and chest wont make a huge difference in DPS, for the setbonus you can add easily a belt.
