    Ah yes, definitely! They should! Forget smart dyads, the reward jackpot should be all Visionmaker mats, 20 crit Innerwear and dragon mounts. Because what's the point of the thousands of alkahest and blessed scrolls if you can't make the equipment!? Am I right. I for one can't wait for the event :)

    Yes good idea, lets destroy the broker to the maximum possible extent because kyra just wasn't enough. No but really, tone down on jackpot events and make an event that only provides untradeable items (NOT VM MATS, adding those would be literally mocking people who farmed their materials for ambush gear.).

    You mean the alts of all those ambush guilds that farm rally?

    BTW +1 on strongbox event, it's been a while since the last one, and i have lot of keys sitting there too

    To all of you saying a strongbox event will destroy the economy: PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTT!!!
    Your argument is invalid if that is your sole complaint. I agree that we don't need a triple drop weekend or more mongos, because at this point, if EME did that, they might as well just give everyone ambush boxes. However Strongbox events are not like that and have never been like that since I started playing.
    Here are a few reasons why a strongbox event is really the only acceptable "giveaway" type event:
    1. The economy is already destroyed from the kyra's event.
    2. The jackpots from strongbox are considerably lesser in value than anything kyra's gave.
    3. Piggybacking off the second point, the strongbox events have never ruined the market to my knowledge because 500-1k spellbind/alkahest/feedstock is the usual jackpots.
    4. Smart dyads are the main reason people use keys for the event. Smart dyad niveots, dyad niveots and just plain dyad crystals are all untradeable which means ~SHOCKER~ no effect on the economy. (Unless you buy crystal boxes and even then, minimal loss.)

    They should stop doing consumable jackpots(they are worthless atm) and add stuff like dragons, rare cosmetics and smart dyads
