How is "valkyrie" (read what valkyire is) in any way or form related to lunar dancer background, is beyond me. There is like nothing in common aside both are basically female locked ...

Why is there no "lunar dancer" option instead of "moon dancer" is another wtf.

So by process of elimination, I'm casting my vote for Valkyrie.

Which has even less in common with this class than other options.

would of voted Moon Dancer if it was an option. the other doesnt look right so i went for Valkyrie as it to me is more appealing.

This is a silly argument for Moon Dancer as En Masse has never named a class or skills based on fan translated names of kTera class or skills.

I chose Valkyrie. Personally, I don't see anything about the class that screams "VALKYRIE!", but the name was the best choice I was given from those available. They are beautiful, angelic-like creatures from Norse mythology that you see as you draw your last breath from dying a valiant death in battle, whom are brought to Valhalla if chosen as worthy. It would have been better suited for a healer or even tank class, but alas here we are. If I can find one reference that might do it justice, it's this picture I found through Wikipedia.

Now, for my criticisms towards the other class names, if you managed to get this far...

Paragon

Seems a bit odd, but sounds pretty cool. The definition of a paragon is "a person or thing regarded as a perfect example of a particular quality." or "a person or thing viewed as a model of excellence." which as some users have already pointed out, Castanics are known for being not the best role models with their devan ancestry looming over them and, well, if you walk the streets of Castanica and speak with an NPC here and there, you'll know Castanic ladies aren't the kind you bring home to meet your mother.

Moon Dancer

D-do I really have to say this? Oh... Well okay then.

Original character do NOT STEAL!!! Just utterly uncreative, something a 9 year old would probably promote.

Sentinel

When I think of this class and it's genderlock, I instantly think of Scarlet Blade (or Queen's Blade in S. Korea), infamous for being one of the most overly sexualized games to ever come out of South Korea. It has a class known as the Sentinel which is a loli-gunner class. Not to mention when you look at the definition of the word, it means "a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch." Yeeeeah.... we're just gonna watch in disappointment with teams that flop in CS.

Stay away from that hard stuff, EME. That's all I have to say.

TL;DR Valkyrie sounds pretty neat, others sound like bad sonic character concepts.

Last day of the pool and the numbers do not lie.

Anyone who knows about statistics and how this tend to bring results on pools by now know the winner.

I would ask to EME team to put extra effort in this since from today would be the day that some ppl could try to sway or influence the pool to give extra advantage or turn the tide on something that already has been made clear the winner for new class.

I think there could be a lot of players that didnt join the pool but if they havent already it would be weird and uncommon to then to join by now.

I dont think we will have more than 100 votes today so this has been settle already.

Nice try Michael Jackson, You were a proud contender but destiny choose (or better say community choose) a god/goddess like class rather than a pop singer and dancer to be the next class.

its based on the full moon, and they eat things like mooncakes. and its heavly about moon worship

It related to the moon but not heavily about mon worship. The Festival itself start as a type of thanks giving, people do worship the moon at the day of it but it more about family reunion. There also several folk stories or history about it yet since they are too long so I not going type it. ( text of wall going get hated > < )

Sun/life/male = 陽(solar)
Moon/death/female = 陰(lunar)
The living world = 陽間/陽界
The afterlife world = 陰間/陰界
This kind of culture not just Asian but some western countries also have it.

If Tera is a historic game then yea they need to follow the lore/myth, yet you realize that Tera is a fantasy game? In this case creator/use could just take a name for the meaning it could have or leave with imagination.
