Daily Instance Reset Bugged

Ty EME. Instance entries oesn't reset at same time as vanguards reset anymore. What's the point in having vanguards if I can't run any instances. Please fix.

    Dungeon entries reset at 9pm pst now.

    At least instance reset scrolls reset ghillie, ace dungeons and such now :p

    Please fix this Spacecats. You guys do a great job, but this is super annoying. Please return both dungeon reset and vg reset back to the original time.

    I shouldn't log in at 11AM to find that my dungeons from the previous night still haven't reset.

    For me the reset now is at 0:00 hours.

    So it would be better if vaguar resets at that time also :+1:

    EME didn't do that specifically; it's like that in all versions of the game worldwide. And the reason is clear: because all of TERA's F2P monetization strategy is based on people creating new characters. More characters means more character slots, more bank slots, more costumes, more mounts, etc. It also means that dedicated players have more reason to play more content to gear all their various alts (since there are various by-character caps and lock-outs on content). This is also, incidentally, why they keep introducing new classes. Dedicated players can use the gold they make on their main characters to buy the cash shop items they need on the broker, but that supply of cash shop items often comes from more casual players (who use this demand to siphon some of the gold from the dedicated players).

    So basically... people creating more alts is what keep the TERA world going around. (And this is really only tangentially related to the topic at hand, but it is why they have instance resets -- even though I think they should really lockout loot privileges, not access, but that's another story...)

    Yeah this ruined my day. I did my dungeon runs at 12am PST thinking I would be able to run again this afternoon but that isn't the case. But thank god my vanguard reset, totally useful when I can't run any dungeons.

    Did I miss an announcement about this change? I have had a few people tell me ingame that their reset time is the same, though it resets 9pm pst for me.
