Used to have a i5 4400 and it was great tbh, no fps problems at all as long as i dont open 2-3+ clients and stream same time, also got same performance on W7/W10 but that may not apply to everybody.

Ofc u can't expect to get 50+ fps constant on stuff like battlegrounds but other than CS/FWC it runs great.

TERA is heavily single threaded or up to 2 cores. I have an i5 3570K stock clock and doing fine on it. Really. Not to mention single threaded performance past Sandy Bridge Intel hasn't changed anything
Also all the Rizen hype thing: it will perform the same (or a little, just a hair) worse in single thread so no advantage for TERA.

GPU wise I'm running on max graphics around 30 FPS on a GTX 550 Ti, so your 1050 Ti is more than enough, in fact I was about to upgrade to that one but reasons...

I would say you can't expect that on TERA's servers even, heck I think any gear that isn't some i5/i7 overclocked it's brains out, won't reach 60 FPS in CS/FWC during the mob rush parts.
The game has several issues on the UI part, and naming on the characters is included as UI, it hogs CPU like mad. Never heard of anyone having butter smooth FPS on CS start when everyone is rushing together or FWC. Same goes for anything full of people.

Uhhhh those world mongo events with like 50+ people, R.I.P. FPS, it was a slideshow

I would recommend on a mid tier card like nVidia GTX 1070 and Windows 10

I don't think you gauged his budget correctly.
But an I7-7700k would give you more FPS than Ryzen 1800X though and it's way cheaper.

Damn your new pc build is almost the same as my new pc LOL, other than the 8gb extra ram & 80W more power.
I'm currently using an ASUS H170 Pro Gaming Motherboard and it's been working fine. If you want a cheaper alternative go for the B150.

    (Godammit why is "d a m n" censored)

Your cpu will be fine and you should go for Windows 10. You also don't have to worry about your gpu, the most typical consumers should ever go for is the higher GTX1060 since that is enough for all games at the current popular resolution. A GTX1070 or higher is only ever going to get you much if you play on higher resolutions, or just want to show off.

I have the MSI B150M Mortar Artic motherboard and it works great with my 1060 and skylake cpu. It is fully compatible with your Kabylake i5 7500, however. I highly recommend it! Also, it has white digital camouflage pcb and a metal io shroud (also in camo) Looks amazing in my Fractal define mini c case!

i dont kwow ASUS H170 Pro Gaming Motherboard or MSI B150M Mortar Artic motherboard looks pretty cool.
