Test server more stable, report your ping and location here

Location : SEA
Fey Forest : 250ms
Wonderholme: 200ms
please report according to the above format.

So test server is more stable and gives me lower ping.

can we have more info on the future of this test server?

because if we have the stability like the test server, i might just continue playing this game.

  • same thing is being noticed by everyone and I postulate that this might be what they are testing.

I usually start with a 250 ping (Australia), but when I have been playing for 30 minutes or more and check my ping it will say something crazy like 937 and I noticed this was not happening on the Wonderholme server, ping remained high but stable.
  • I'm seeing 60-70 ping on test server. Immediately switched to TR and it's 85-100.

the wh server is located in seattle instead of chicago, so west coast players will see a very noticeable ping difference

Wonderholme is more "stable" in regards to fluctuation, however, I see lower ping more often on CH. I have yet to reach a number lower than 75 on WH, where as CH will sit around the 40-60 range usually.

Post if you have your own internet line and not playing wifi. So far the biggest "lag"-squallers suddenly admit that they share their internet connection with their whole family and also play wifi.

Are you implying that the Wonderholme server is not located in Chicago? This would be making a real difference in ping, because you're routed otherwise.
  • Location: Spain

    Mount tyrannas: 120 -140ms
    Wonderholme : 175 -210ms
Based on Low and Mid populated channels

I didn't notice much the change but im level 14 or so it's hard to tell since my char it feels a lot slower than my mains level 65
I experienced some high spikes of 400ms but probably cause the channel was full or crazy monstas caterpillars were all around lol

My location to Chicago 7100Km aprox MT
My Location to Seatle 8712Km aprox WH
So if servers are hosted where some mate says above the data makes sense however i see some of you posted high pings being so close to the source I dont think its a location problem

I am very sure we are skipping an entire hop here, did EME open up a special route?

I have personally never gotten this low on a ping even in NA League of Legends since 2 years back (the lowest was actually 176ms, but back then traffic was way lower).

Loving the change, my ping use to be a steady 40 on the old servers till so many updates it's nice feeling like I can relax again.

Ping MT: 130~180ms (up to 230ms).
    Ping Wonderholme: 140~170ms

No big changes in Belgium but maybe more stable, It's not worse in all cases.

Dunno if it's just now and some external factor but I've seen the opposite of you guys (at least in depressive starting island):
    Location: Brazil (BRHUEHUE Latin America)
    Ping AV: 180~210
    Ping WH: 270~700

Let's keep going, it might just be an occasional issue, the huge spike seems to be every now and then only.
Stability wise AV seems a bit better in my case.

EDIT: spikes seem to be really rare, but higher ping than normal all the time
