Noob Question Dungeons

OK so I'm curious about how people have been able to be so successful in gearing up as quickly as they do in just a matter of days.

Is it possible to do any dungeon as a raid party of more than 5 people or are they all restricted by the amount o fplayers you can have at once in the dungeons. Like can I make a raid and spam any dungeon with more than 5 people?

I guess it's more a matter of entering wiith people willing to pass on gear for you, other than that you can gather tokens to get the low or mid tier sets, if you have at least two characters you can gear up at least one from scratch, besides, on IMS it's very common to have already geared players in the party, they will normally pass on gear and let you have it.
  • If you're a veteran, established player it's extremely easy to gear up in full +12 mid-tier with perfect rolls, all glyphs and full jewelry a few hours after you got to 65. For a new player tho without resources and friends it can take quite a while, but depending how much you play is still a fairly fast process.
  • To answer your original question, no, you can't run a dungeon with more than the specified number of players. Most things are 5, while something like Demokron Factory is a 7 man raid. You can try telling the group at the beginning of the run that you need X or Y, but that doesn't guarantee someone won't roll on it anyway.

It is just a combination of getting cheap mats off the broker (they are honestly extremely cheap now, no reason to buy them), knowing how to play the game (you lose runs by getting kicked so not dying and relying on neophytes is a huge plus), and the common sense of knowing what an instance reset scroll is. With that alone you can get +12 guile very cheaply in less than 3 days even if you somehow get noobs every run.

Heck the above statement doesn't even consider if you have elite or not.

    Thank you that helps.
