3v3 gunner is pretty bad because they can't generate enough pressure.
Mass PvP Gunner is very strong because eh ranged class and huge AoE and easy to play.
This basically sums up gunner, but unbalanced class matchups is just a part of the game at this point.
All duels/1v1s are is like a scale, which has three elements to be scaled:
Gear difference, class matchup, skill
One can excel in any of the three to have an edge in a duel. QQing over it wont make it disappear. Every time something is nerfed people QQ, and while I respect that you just wanted to get the fact that people are overreacting out there, youre not really doing a good job at executing it.
It wont go away, whatever VirtualON said is the basic truth in terms of game mechanics, and whatever I said I believe is just how everything else goes.
It's a crutch class and nothing more.
You can destroy the turret. After you stun the gunner. And you can stun the gunner after a successful block with your smoke flanker or aggressor. When you stun the gunner. The first thing you should do is destroy the turret then close back in on the gunner using poison blade back stabs and all that. AS and CR are a Warriors best friend as well as being up close and personaly. You can't evade and run away you have to be aggressive up close and personal with a gunner.
My recommendation is watch duel sessions on different classes
The only thing I can agree to is the heal bot. It cannot be destroyed except by the caster.
In my opinion we should be able to destroy the heal bot. A mystics thralls can be destroyed, why not a gunners heal bot? That's the one thing I don't think is fair about the gunner class at present. I actually tested this the other day, I couldn't even attack the heal bot or get my thralls to. So heal the hb bot needs a little nerfing.
Also, would being able to destroy the bot really help? Bot will now tank lock-ons. Backstabs will now move you behind the bot for an easy stun, or point blank confirm stun. AoE damage can now split on the gunner and the bot giving the gunner some extra survivability. This is in addition to that fact that its an extra body standing around tanking attacks and getting in the way in general. Would only hurt gunner in mass pvp where the bot would get wrecked by all the random damage flying around.
Regarding whether gunner is OP, I don't think so. Melee matchups are more difficult due to the bot but become more even if you're good enough to block/iframe/bait it. It's a noob killer, low skill players will always be complaining about it, doesn't mean it's OP. Zerk and Slayer are still going to have trouble without nostrum/big CD cheese or a bunch of good reads. Those classes are in need of proper reworks for pvp anyway, so that's not an indication of gunner being OP. For group pvp, it's poor for small scale and great for large. Is that OP when there are classes that are good at both though?
Quality of life buffs and the option to take power instead of crit on equalized gear would be the ideal changes for gunner in its current state if you ask me.
