Tera is now facing a problem towards battlegrounds, due to the lack of players interested plus that the main focus in the PvE end-game dungeons.
In order to address to such we have battlegrounds power hours active almost everyday, you check in your welcome message which battleground will have a power hour and at what time, this way you will sure be able to play.
As on guilds related things, we have GvGs aswell, i'm afraid i'm not aware anymore of the point since the removal of cutthroat league.
And on world goal PvP theres Civil Unrest, you can see info here

The only difference between PvE and PvP worlds are that at PvP people can kill others often they're both 65, but it's mindless killing without a reason or a goal different than annoy/inflate their ego, so you won't miss anything playing on a PvE server (maybe you'll miss that random 5-6 person gank while you do a daily).5 -

Mainly Pvp in tera is for fun, since there is no real reward for being first in anything5

If everyone has +15 gear in an uneq setting, the results are actually pretty even to skill level. Which is to say that the problem isn't in whether the BG is EQ or not, but rather if BHS actually knows how to handle their "EQ gear" and classes, which are the main reasons why people in the higher ratings wanted stuff to be unEQ.
The real reward for PvP back then was in both alliance and crusades, where in both cases the groups getting large amounts of rewards. People who feed were actually banned back then iirc. Now, PvP is just for credits that PvE players use...
I feel like you're a slayer who can't beat lancers or reapers. :x
This is unfortunately what it boils down to for most people.
Unfortunately the greed of players is the driving force for PvP here rather than competing to see who's the best.
I do however hope down the line bluehole re introduce the crusades or something like it.
