Etching Intro quest broken??

The practice elemental scarab powders are no longer issued!? How are we to complete the quest???

    Odd, I just did those quests a day or so ago with no issues. Something changed in today's patch maybe? I know for the first part I had to provide the scarabs myself, then make them into powder. Don't remember if I was provided extra powders to make the practice etchings, but when I did it, everything to make them(except the kits which I still had to buy) was there.

    Thanks for the input. Yes... they have a unique characteristic that doesn't allow you to provide your own. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

    So I just started the quest with an alt and I just received the practice powders you mentioned. I had to actually chose and click on one of the designs offered when starting the quest. Then accept the quest. Still got the practice weapon etching design, though.

    LMAO. Quest does not even exist in my quest log anymore. Guess I'll go back to the quest giver & see if I get lucky.

    Haha... perhaps it was fixed in this patch. Went back to the quest giver & he gave me the practice mats. ~shrugs~
