TERA Takes FOREVER to star Up!

OK I'll start with:
39.07.07.EN4 May 3, 2016: from the Launcher to get in Game it takes about 2 Minunts.
42.06 May 17, 2016 : from the Launcher to get in Game it takes about 7 Minunts.
42.06.03 May 24, 2016: NOW it takes about 10 Minunts????
What the HELL??????

Add Tera's folder to your exclusions list on your antivirus. I added mine to exclusions for Windows Defender and it starts up fast again.

You need to disable Windows Defender.

It's causing loading issues in Windows 10.

Before you do anything to your anti virus run the client's repair function just to check.

Something happened after the last few patches. With my AV on, Tera loaded up fine. Now it does take a while to start up. I even get a half a screen with nothing but some sky on it. I have not done any changes to my software nor hardware. No windows updates either. The only thing that changed was the Tera updates. My client is also full vanilla with only 3 or so S1engine tweaks. I may get those to default just to test later if I feel inclined. For now I just wait for the new long loading time patiently.

I opened a thread about this. The fix is also in this thread.

I think I'll just wait up the loading. I'd get on edge knowing I'm online without an AV on. Even if it's the freebie Defender.

Or add the tera folder to your exclusions on Defender

Was thinking about that. I don't run around the darker parts of the internet so having a program or two there wouldn't hurt.
