1: I never asked for content.
2: I didn't say content isn't needed, I'm just saying that with a large enough group of people, it's not as pressing of an issue.
3: Nice cherry-pick of a few sentences to twist the point of the post as a whole.
The issue I was describing in the first paragraph is that Tera faces a problem with its 'every 6 months' patch schedule and design. Sure, we get a patch every six months, which can be seen as 'steady content,' but it only has ~1-3 months worth of extremely repetitive, grindy content to chew through. That is a game design problem in and of itself because it leaves a huge window of downtime for players on a regular basis.
However, a sort of band-aid fix to this is that with enough of a community behind the game (read: more players), the people you play with make even small amounts of content interesting by just being there. I could go over a ton of different examples as to why, but I'm sure everyone here knows a few instances where having more/newer players helped break up the monotony of repetitive content.
Is content needed? For the most part, yes.
Am I asking for it? No.
If I was to ask for anything, it's more players, which is why I'm hopeful for the Xbox/PS release of this game. An influx of new players will hopefully breathe some new life into this game and shake things up some. It's not a permanent fix, like I said when referring to it as a Band-Aid fix, but it would do a lot more than the typical, "Two more dungeons, new VM gear to grind, and a few costumes to play dress-up with" content we've gotten in the last few years. However, if it succeeds, it can generate some new revenue for EME and maybe help try and get this game back up on its feet.
Personally I've got nothing to do because I've got nothing to compete for unfortunately. PvP side of Tera has been my heart n soul for a long time. Yeah I've done PvE but that gets boring quickly.
Content might be a problem but on the open world aide of things it's now only lvl 65 owpvp / most of the open world is irrelevant for levelling now also.
Sadly I've bo suggestions to offer as of yet. Will maybe look into some ideas and see what I can come up with.
Dude! full tera server population(all servers combined) peeks @ 2-3k per month.Compared to WoT EU servers @ 5am thats 4 times as low as wot population, still eme can't make a solid event unless they make money out of it, instead of free publicity.
