Recently Returning Player Disappointed With Frame Rates...

I've recently come back to TERA after about 1.5 years and while playing the game, I've noticed that after about and hour or so, my frame rate drops significantly down to the teens. I'll start off my gaming session averaging about 30-60 FPS (depending on my in-game location) and then it drops to teens/single digits making it impossible to play without a complete restart of the client.
Is anyone else experiencing something similar? One of the main reasons I left before was due to terrible optimization, memory leaks, etc. This is extremely disappointing to come back to.

Hm, can't really help in this. If this were some years ago, I'd advice to check SSD capacity left when breaking down on C: as former OS did shuffle data around and jammed it, causing a performance drop. However, the new systems don't do this anymore.

I'd still say it's a configuration problem on your PC and the first thing I'd still suspect would be something jamming your RAM. 16GB is quite a lot (for Tera) and this may correlate why it takes 1h. Are you connecting directly or using any additional program? Can you force shut down all other background and RAM resident programs and try to play Tera?
