PvP Slaughter vs Dread

The Dreadnaught set is obviously hybrid PvE and PvP but the Slaughter weapon has PvP stats and the armor has none. The armor has higher base defense also so I am just wondering if the Slaughter set can be used in pvp

    Dread doesn't have high enough ilvl and you'll end up in equalized if you que in it.

    I was wondering if slaughter had any PvP use, since I want to get back into fwc, but my ilvl is no longer high enough to avoid the eq gear.
    Nor do I have starfall to up my ilvl to get back in. :cry:
    I'll check hands and shoes but I don't think those have PvP stats either.

    You will take less damage with Dreadnaught chest than with Slaughter one. Made the test with my gunner (full slaughter set) switching between chests. I tought defense modifier would compensate the missing PVP rolls and get less damage, turns out it wasn't like that; slaughter chest is meant for PVE not for PVP.

    If you're planning to raise your item lvl to enter Fraywind, use the slaughter for queing and once inside switch to your dreadnaught.

    At the end i ended up with a chest i'll not use at all cause i don't PVE very often with my alt, can't even get feedstock on return which sucks...
