Combining everything we've got, my personal experience on each class + confirmations from other players:
Issue description: skill unwanted automatic triggering after specific situations.
Warrior: Auto/basic attack / Rising Furry
Ninja: Auto/basic attack
Berseker: Auto/basic attack
Reaper: Auto/basic attack
Sorcerer: N/A
Slayer: N/A
Gunner: Burst Fire
Archer: Rapid Fire/Sequential fire
Lancer: Shield block
Mystic: Corruption Ring (now that you mention, I've had that a few times)
Brawler: Block/counter
Priest: Triple Nemesis
Best known method of reproduction: skill cast interrupted midway
Temporary fixes: relogging and plain waiting.
The glitch doesn't seem to differ between input methods (keyboard and mouse vs controllers)
Similar glitches: Resurrecting walking on a specific direction/match pop-up locks character into walking towards a specific direction.
I think I'll put this on a bug report, liking to this thread, and post another one on the bug report section of the forum, maybe a moderator could merge the 2 threads then. I think it deserves some level of attention.
EDIT: It seems it's not always the same skill that you can "jam in position" but it can possibly happen with many different skills.
Rebinding the skill to a new key
Switching between my gamepad and keyboard
Enabling the "turn off gamepad detection" in game options
Logging in/out
It should also be noted that I don't run TERA through Steam either.
@ElinLove Thanks for helping out, I really appreciate it. Unfortunately this is a bug that's difficult to ignore and really hinders our ability to heal our team; I hope it gets the attention it needs.
on priest, it happened when i was walking forward, pressed Backstep, then tried to walk again...but instead of walking my priest would start casting Triple Nemesis. i didn't even press the trip nem key yet.
when i got out of the dungeon, i tried the same steps. walk -> Backstep -> walk. and again, my priest started casting trip nem instead of walking away from the backstep.
putting trim nem on a different hotkey then moving it back: this fixed it temporarily. a few mins later the bug came back.
relogging: this seemed to fix it better. i haven't had the issue again since yesterday.
on archer it happens with sequential fire....canceling ny charging skills before i can charge them....annoying as [filtered]
Yes, now that you mention it did happen with me on Rising Fury. Will be added on the post above
