Ok, goodbye Again Tera. BHS killed, murdered, anihilate the PvP.
That is what atracted my to this game at the first time in 2012, and now it is totally gone.
For PvE games, i preffer Mount and Blade.

2 weeks lv 65 on my new warrior, not even 1 CS yet, and i try, every day
There is 2 weeks of FWC dc??
If enmasse is reading this and actually cares to know what killed it, in no particular order:
1. Removal of crusades and battleground scoreboards / death of any competitive incentive.
2. Skill damage and power keeps getting buffed but Gates in CS remain the same HP, leading to boring and short frustrating games.
3. Death of any open world PvP due to the death of open world PvE. The only places open world content happens now are safezone. Even just a few major patches ago we had open world 65 bams and mob dailies in north arun that were worth doing and actually led to open world PvP happening. Now that's all dead.
4. Since open world PvP is dead, the PvP gear that you normally get every patch from BG credits no longer has meaning. This patch is conflate, but who cares? For Civil Unrest? Civil Unrest is absolute garbage AFK content that doesn't even compare to the far superior crusade system it replaced in the slightest.
5. Making CS 65 only. Massive down spike in queue times.
6. Buggy queues that randomly don't pop / teleport people in.
7. Removal of jackpots. Diamonds and emeralds used to always randomly appear. Now we only get jackpots during weekend powerhours - which is also when the queues pop the most. It's not a coincidence.
8. Increasingly poor game balance ever since Ktera split their balance team when they created the talent system. Balance was always shifty but it has gotten 10x worse. They legit do not care anymore. Just look at the recent PvP buff to whipsaw. Yes they BUFFED what is arguably the most broken skill in game ROFL.
9. Continued poor balance between PvE and PvP rewards. Why in gods name would anyone pay anything over 50k credits for a single VM mat that takes less than 10 minutes to get in a mid tier dungeon?
10. Just in general poor decisions leading to decreased player base and thus less people in the queues.
On this very same day two years ago I could queue for CS at 12:00am and it would pop in less time than it pops now during power hours. There was a point in time that eme/bhs needed to accept that this is unsustainable and that point has long been passed. Or maybe eme is fully aware of it and is jumping ship to Kritika LOL who knows.

That is why i used to love Corsair and FwC.
I play for WIN, im not one of that braindeads who ignores the objetives and go pvp around. But i enjoy those times when PvP is not optional to make an objetive. I enjoy getting killed for go alone into mid pyre of CS and try to take it myself while defending... I love to "troll" pvp to gain atention on field and with that gain some time for my team to do something... In short, i like the EQUALIZED BG, where gear do not matters.
In the old days, yes, i did many pvp gears but in my personal experiencie massive open world pvp dont work for me, i mean, very high ping and a poorly optimized game (memory leaking anywhere) is not good combination for OWpvp. So, this EQ BGs are extraordinary. Well... WAS. They re not anymore. Corsair is a little ridiculous now, the gates broke to easy and the match last for no time.
When they changed cs to 65 only they did not buff the gates or crystal to match the new damage brought in by:
- 65 crystals
- 65 skill sets
- 65 glyphs
etc....
Instead of having a raid mix of 10xlvl30 and 10xlvl65 you now have 20x65 which is a drastic change in damage.
Small qol of changes that will never be fixed for the Pvp community.
BHS/EME have gave up on caring about Pvp in any form.
Literally all you do is complain about the company expecting they will do something about it.
Sure, a good chunk of PvP content is dictated by how the company endorses it, but you fail to realize how much of it is also dictated by the players. If people want to PvP, they PvP. It exists to a good degree, atleast in Fey Forest.
Power hours are when people queue bgs, and when bgs are down, theres OWPVP all the time in VO (except in MT)

Time ago, u reach level 30 and can enter CS, the first real team pvp in game for new players.
I learned A LOT about pvp on that BG.
Now u reach level 65 with no real PvP. Just beating brainless monsters with a team.
Dont know why they change that. Yes, it was unequalized against real 60s of that days, and yes there is a lot of AFK morons trying to free leveling or credits. But that still happens for credits. And can be fixed with a improved votation kick system.
And the Level/skills/glyph/items equalizing can be done pretty easy too. Just make all max level, give them an paralel inventory (Not their own) with crystals and zyrks for the class, then give all skills and glyphs and 3 minutes to set all up. There u have, EQ bg for anyone.
But no, the lazy koreans dudes preffer to make it for 65 only. Same with FwC
Nah. People are as bad as ever.
What has actually happened is power creep. BHS keeps buffing base skill damage to help older classes keep up with the broken DPS of newer ones, but they never bothered to make sure these buffs don't carry over to the gates in CS. Even bad players can now melt gates quickly, with the only thing stopping them being whether or not the team on defense is sleeping.
Corsairs matches legit come down to how many players on each team understand that we are in a "gate meta" and the only way to counter this is to peel players off gates by PvPing them. If only a few players on defense side jump down, the offensive side will burn both gates in less than 4 minutes even if they are terrible and are just randomly spamming their skills. Good teams unhindered will burn in less than 2:30.
