  • Pvp was never balanced. Never.
    Before, was lancers with high dps and high defense.
    Then the reapers, spacebar smash and slaughterfest all around
    Now gunners... Extreme damage for a ranged class.

    Actually there is no point to make a pure melee class right now in pvp aspects.

    Get better. I had a warrior in CS and 3s that completely tore up the other team.

    Getting better will stil make them OP and unbalanced.
    But this is tipical of Korean games. They never care much about balance. L2 times was no exception. There will always be a class who is easy to use and OP.

    I main a warrior too... Warrior Berserker and Sorcerer. Cs is not about killing anyways, the objetive is destroy or defend the anchorstone.
    And pretty much of your success / failure come with your team and enemy team. That still will not fix balance problems.

    My question is, what balancing problems? You complain about a class being unbalanced but have no evidence nor any way to fix it.

    I've thought a bit about balancing. Gunner can be a TINY bit less OP vs melee classes by making bot summon not kd, and reaper/ninja can prob have less damage, along with the new whipsaw glyph being pve only. Probably keep balders at 4-6min instead of 2 (3/30 patch has 2 min now iirc), and this will probably fix most issues for uneq pvp. For eq pvp, to be perfectly honest making all eq just current VM / BiS with options for rolls given to players to customize would just fix most issues as well. This all assumes all current ktera patches are applied (Backstab nerfed, slayer buffed, etc)

    Also archers should be nerfed a tad bit because in FWC you can 25% the boss and its near guaranteed everytime

    In that case I'll revise it so that in VM EQ theres some emulation to nostrum/bravery, and since power scales higher than endurance in that regard, it makes healers relatively killable at that point.

    Also nothing is an end all solution, I still think the nerfs I stated are viable for a relatively balanced system (and definitely a lot more balanced than right now)

    The point of no kd from bot summon is so that if a melee class managed to block or prevent stun from a bot self destruct there should be be a relatively easier way to punish gunners for that (bot summon after bot stun makes it so melee classes have one more thing to worry about while punishing gunner, and on many occasions it actually interrupts a combo). Making warrior be able to pass through bot can also be a viable nerf, I wasn't able to consider that at first glance. The point is, yes there will never be TRUE balance, but it definitely makes the scale less tipped.

    Same goes for reapers, if theyre braindead but does tons of damage, make it do less damage. Nothing can get rid of the braindead element of it but it helps to nerf the damage.

    I agree for the archer FWC nerf though.

    Thats the last thing anyone cares about.... It's the ability to recall and blow up bot while staggered/kded and hide behind bot for no leash/backstab(WA/SL)

    I think we had a bit of a disconnect, I'm fully aware of the problem. Its just if you do something like remove recall or bot it just kills gunner, which isn't a fair solution. I might not have the answer, but I'm just trying to consider gunner too so we don't just kill the class. Removing recall or bot self destruct would fix the matchup vs melee but make it even worse vs other ranged classes, which is already slightly disadvantaged for gunner (although less lopsided for gunner vs melee classes). Removing recall would not be an option in general due to its use in PvE.

    As much as I want to fully agree with you the part about slayer is just unproductive. The point of a balance pitch is to make it so X isnt "garbage you can just reroll", slayer is getting some buffs in ktera that will come soon, making it pretty viable in pvp. It's just simply contradictory to say "PvP is balanced ppl are just complaining" and "This class is garbage just reroll" in the same post.

    It changes the skill ceiling. If you relied on spamming the key to land instead of properly aiming (like how it should've been in the first place) then you don't deserve to be able to set up a combo. It shouldn't affect the top level players who can aim well anyway, because they'll land it anyhow. It's why people call backstab skill-less or why people who rely on spamming it just to land backstab carried
