Eh??(Val titles)
So, we have 24 hrs to max out our valkyrie next Tuesday to get all 5 titles? I thought you said that was gonna be different @Spacecats.
I don't mean to sound like I'm whining, I really don't, in fact I'm excited about that new reward box thing you guys have been doing (With them and when you updated the warriors)
But I'm rather disappointed we will only have 24 hrs like we did with the ninja at start(Yes I know they gave us more time after the various crashes, which was nice). Some reasons why:
1. Some people can't take off of work that day/have stuff to do while the update rolls out/have school
2. Usually, there's a butt load of lag/some bugs on the first day
3. Her being DPS, dungeon queues are going to take ages! That's the fastest way to level up. Even with XP boosts, doing the main quests will take too long to max.
4. Them random Tera crashes
So I propose you give us 2 days, 3 days tops, for all 4 titles.
Maybe even a time frame for say, the level 30 one, and a longer time for the next title (Cause the leveling takes longer as you increase)
Again, I am NOT whining, just giving some tips (And expressing my umm..disappointment)

Personally I think 2-3 days is a lot, but I wouldn't mind a small extension only because I'll be coming home from work late on tuesday and taking off work on wednesday to grind for a long time @[email protected] without sleep. 2 days seems reasonable but then again, I did the same thing with Ninja and actually made it to 65 before the 24 hours and then was hit with the extension. Not impossible, but definitely REALLY really difficult for working people.
People would like to learn their classes @[email protected] not spam kumas, come awwwwwwnnn.
I think it has more to do with the fact that most people wont have the full 24 hours to do it due to work and other life events. Which is pretty common on a 17+ game. Not everyone has that luxury of just jumping onto tera and ignoring responsibilities. LOL. Some people don't live with their parents
Pretty sure people will leave learning the class for later, Veteran players that is. Newer players who decide to create a Valkyrie as their first character will be the most affected by this, cause they want (at least they should want) to learn the class, but they also want shiny new titles, which they won't be able to get since in order to get those, you have to pretty much no life for 7-14 hours skipping all content.
As for the 24-hour titles, there's always a line that has to be drawn. Even if you make it 48 hours or 72 hours, some people will say they can't play because it's during the week, and so will still be inconvenienced. The way the title is now, it's more of a "I was there on Day One" sort of title.
There's also the argument that this is a title that is supposed to be limited and represent something of a challenge, so making it too lenient removes some of the exclusivity. But there too, it's just a matter of where you draw the line. You could argue that the biggest challenge is just whether real life allows you to take the day off.
In any case, it's helpful to remember that this is just the evolution of Cutting Edge that used to be a server-first title. Instead of server-first, it's now a "within 24 hours" title, which is much more lenient than before. Again, the question is just how lenient the line should be, and no matter what it will inconvenience some people. It's at least nice now that they have a title for everyone in the first few weeks, and all the other rewards are also for all.
since when people want know how used casual class ? huehuehue

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
If you have a job where you can get some vacation days, why not use it to play video games? It's a lot cheaper than taking a trip somewhere. Of course, not everyone has that luxury, and that has to be respected too.
(I swear the most relaxing vacations I've taken have just been ones where I can do nothing but play video games or do whatever I want without answering my phone/emails/etc.)
I do live with my parents, and I'll still not be able to do this, I got stuff to help around after all.
This title is truly meant only for the most hardcore players on the server. UNLESS: We do a group grind to do dungeons without queue, I did this with Ninja but still not enough to get to 65 fast enough.
Meh I'll just try as much as I can and when I get fed up I'm out. I'll not wear down my brains for this but it sure will be fun to give it a go.
Get ready for the hardcore players coming here calling you the Whinny the pooh of the forums, it's happening on Nootiful's thread already
