Aren't the dungeons/bams going to be buffed also? I feel if anything warrants getting more time to level, it would be that. Levelling dungeons are supposed to take much more time after valk release.

I can see this only as an advantage frankly, except for this very case that we need to rush levels.

These dungeons have been beyond too easy, they're almost like "Run to the last room, look in the map what's the last room, it has a huge arrow showing it, and then press the 'free XP' button". Face rolling the dungeons were the norm.

As was said above, I think the aspect that's different this time is that you will get a title for reaching level 65 any time during the entire leveling event, even besides the "server-first" titles (now 24-hour titles).

As for the 24-hour titles, there's always a line that has to be drawn. Even if you make it 48 hours or 72 hours, some people will say they can't play because it's during the week, and so will still be inconvenienced. The way the title is now, it's more of a "I was there on Day One" sort of title.

There's also the argument that this is a title that is supposed to be limited and represent something of a challenge, so making it too lenient removes some of the exclusivity. But there too, it's just a matter of where you draw the line. You could argue that the biggest challenge is just whether real life allows you to take the day off.

In any case, it's helpful to remember that this is just the evolution of Cutting Edge that used to be a server-first title. Instead of server-first, it's now a "within 24 hours" title, which is much more lenient than before. Again, the question is just how lenient the line should be, and no matter what it will inconvenience some people. It's at least nice now that they have a title for everyone in the first few weeks, and all the other rewards are also for all.

I guess you're right, that makes more sense now that I think about it like that.

And btw I am hardcore so that's why I really want those titles xD But I can't pull all-nighters or skip my real-life things

I guess I'll just have to try as hard as I can to max out in a day
  • I have a feeling that server gonna fukdup and they will need to extend the event.

24 hours is more than enough

That's what the lvl 30 and other titles are for. If you can spend 1h maximum on 04/11, you will get the first title. In the past, only ONE person on a server got a title!

I would have taken one day off, just because I usually can and have more than enough overtime. Because we don't live to work but work to finance our life.

I'll try pulling an all-nighter and going to work the next day because I have compulsory attendance. It's not like I actually have to work hard, just be there because it's the start of a critical project and people would panic if we would not be there in person. If I can't reach lvl 65, that's fine.

Adjusting for the somewhat revamped leveling experience, and with a little bit of preparation, most people should be able to push that down to ~8 hours. Much less so if you run with a dedicated team (should still bring a tank for maximum efficiency, 5 valks jumping back and forth means a massive drop in party dps, and you'll level much slower).

Protips; don't attempt to solo dungeons, it's not worth it. Map out which bams you'll be soloing from 17-60. The slower the bam, the better - kumas and rock guardians are great. You'll be doing bams while you queue for dungeons. Regular 5-man dungeon queuing is the best exp/hr in the honorbound patch.

Also don't agree to looking for groups without tanks/healers, the exp drop is so massive that you'd have been better off just grinding bams instead.

Pardon me but I don't understand what you mean here. Is the exp bonus somehow tied to whether you have a proper party composition after Honorbound patch?

Yeah I don't understand. I only know that you get more xp with a full party

Not if the cows get into the office again or they forget to feed the hamsters, which they usually do when a new class comes out

Yes, and it was extended last time there were issues.

    @Tenshi1

That's why they let cows run rampant on Velika and Highwatch since last week.

Now they shoul be somewhat exhausted.

The problem is, they'll be rested by next week. We should have an event to kill and cook them.
