What was said about it then, and now, were the same. You're just choosing to remember something else. Also, not all +15 gear lfgs, the same is true for skilled runs, consist of people that are in +15 or skilled.
When I thought I could of been decoding a whole new side to the Valkryie update... it was all in vain...
Jesus, you will not get poor or cant sleep at night if you do! Like you give something from your own pocket or something , really now!
Dood, you're full of bad ideas and this is one of the worst. how do you think people will feel after you give them toys (to farm for less effective toys) and take them away?
not much reason to make imperator this late in the patch and it would be stupid to +15, would just be a nice little collectable.
You would still have to do 410 dungeons for guile weapon and some people might +15 if they are rich or stupid.
The thing is that you get slaughter so easily anyway, that it feels lame and they may as well not give it at all.
Like I said, it's funny to not say tragic.
Guess my memory of events is wrong because you decided it was.
In all seriousness, everyone I hung out with back then would look at those LFGs and laugh at how stupid they were for demanding OP gear in a place that really didn't need it at all, in a time when that gear was actually quite difficult to obtain. I can't think of anyone who looked at those LFGs and was like "yeah man, that seems reasonable to me" except the dudes who made those groups and then spent ages putting together a party as a result of their high standards, but your mileage obviously varied.
People still find it unreasonable to expect +15 for LKNM and below, then the fact if anyone actually bothers to inspect "skilled" or "+15" groups you would see a lot of them aren't either of the two. It's not "normal" for "everyone" to have +15, it's always the same people making these lfgs. Even this late into the patch there's people who still can't clear RMHM even with the abuse of the glitch and are in Guile.
If you're denied from a +15 lfg it's either because they don't know you, you're "Black listed" or they are just being unreasonable.
I just want the FC store updated on the same day we get the class. EU is otally p2w and they have all costumes and weapon skins, so no excuses EME.
I never said anything about being denied from a +15 LFG. I said that now those "+15 normal mode dungeon" groups actually fill with people meeting that gear criteria really fast because winged weapons are way more common than they used to be. I've seen this myself, joined a +15 LFG for LKNM on my +15 lancer and watched it fill with random dudes in +15 in a couple of minutes. That's my gripe, that the unreasonable kinds of people who might have waited a while, excluding people in gear that was perfectly fine for that level of content, and finally thought "screw it, let's just grab the +12 guy and go" can now just chill and wait a few minutes to fill a team with a +15 group, since anyone who wanted VM has it by now.
>"if anyone actually bothered to inspect 'skilled' or '+15' groups you would see a lot of them aren't either of the two."
I beg to differ, dude. The whole reason people use LFG is so they can pick and choose the kinds of people they let into their team. Anyone who's been straight up rejected because they weren't "skilled," and then made a thread here asking how they're supposed to get skilled when no one will take them on a run, would disagree with what you're saying here. Like, why would you even make an LFG with a specific criterion and then grab people who were the exact opposite of that standard you just set and promised to the rest of your group. The people who joined with that standard in mind might as well IMS at that point.
Anyway all I meant was making really good gear easy to get deflates its value and changes community expectations. Everywhere you go you see winged weapons, and forming a +15 lfg takes a few minutes unless you're waiting on a healer or something. Under those conditions, of course people are going to feel more "normal" about demanding those high standards in their groups -- because they're not even high standards anymore, and that's sad as hell.
