Sooo, arcer wiht 170 ms ping?

Heya, was wondering if the 170 ping will make me kill myself if i were to roll an archer.
I am stuck between either going slayer or archer but since slayer is expected to get a revamp, and I am afraid I might not like it after it, I'd rather not risk it.

On topic, which classes would you say are okay with that sort of ping?
Archer > Slayer > Sorc > Gunner are my main interests, in that order.
Would probably be safest to rolla gunner but I've read Burstfire needs to be macroed (dont know what that means) and its bad if it is not + they are in a bad spot so I am not determined to do it.

    Archer's rapid fire is ping reliant, which is a huge income of ur dps. the same goes for gunner Burstfire.

    slayer isnt getting a revamp, just some qol and minor damage buffs

    I have an Archer playing with 220+, still I do hella damage with Archer, ms ping surely effects your dps but Archer high crit chance on top dps skills make it a good choice. But keep RF (Rapid Fire) outta your rotation.

    You can still RF at your ping, just don't prioritize it as much.

    Go for archer. I used to roll a slayer and warrior, I got tired of my ping spikes from 280-800 when NA is at peak times. I play at SEA region and 220-260 ping is super playable for archer class.

    If you're really concerned about your ping inhibiting archer's ability, pick slayer or sorc as they're a bit more ping friendlier. Problem is that slayer is not getting a revamp soon (thanks valk) and sorc had its revamp earlier than archer. But if you really want to play archer, just do it :) don't compromise your enjoyment just because you're not 1mi away from the servers.
