Server choice, need help.
Heya, me and a friend of mine would start playing this game and were interested in which server would you guys recommend, things to consider:
1. We are from EU (we played tera there so we are not new to the game, just new to US) so a server with a larger EU playerbase due to timezones is a plus.
2. We are interested in pve only, and prefer a non-pvp server as we hate griefers
3. We do not have extreme amount of time to devote to the game, but we do enjoy hardcore content, which contradicts one another in a grind-oriented game like TERA. A server with a lower "entry" requirement in terms of less elitist pugs but still good people in "non pugs" would be ideal. I've read a post on server recommendations, what I concluded is that MT and TR are both super elitist whilst CH and AV are more friendly and casual, with issues being that they are also low/bad skill wise and thus unable to actually complete harder content (which is their downside). We are generally not casuals but I do not think that with the amount of time we have we will be able to keep up with the pace of people that are try-harding in this game. The post however is quite old and I assume outdated:
http://tera-forums.enmasse.com/forums/player-guides/topics/Guide-to-picking-the-right-guildserver-
4. Generally aiming to have endtier-1 easily and then spend time grinding the endtier as per ussual but with no stress or rushing it is our goal.
P.S. If the post I linked was to hold true I'd say TR (with a good guild that will help) or CH/AV would be a good place for us but im worried about 2 much casual approach on the later two mentioned.
Thanks for recommendations!

Well I mean I specifically stated that we'd like to avoid PvP.

I can still PvP in like battlegrounds/arenas on a PvE server right? The only thing that is not doable is world pvp if I understand correctly, and I don't want any of that world pvp bullshiez
But aside this, I tend to think you're right that TR with a good guild is probably a good fit for your criteria.
Harrowhold is a weekly resetting 30 man dungeon considered as the hardest content in-game which has 4 phases, phase 4 being the hardest. So it is a nice idicator of the real end-game population.
MT has the highest amount of p4 clearing raids (around 20?), next is TR with weekly 13-14 clears, CH and AV has less than 2-3 weekly afaik, FF cleared the first time last week when the content is out for 17 weeks now and was carried by MT transfers.
You can draw a conclusion from that i think.
Where can i see this info o.0 Is there any other indicators like this, is a great info.
Not too interested in costumes honestly, interested in having fun with some PvE. I know that we will not be able to chase down the highest of the highest because of the sheer lack of time needed to keep up with the fast pace of gearing that veterans have. But still consider ourselves above average players and would like to push some sort of hard content at least. Conflict arises when we end up on max level with no gear and elitist puggers not letting us get close to that content, this is my main concern really.
Dhrizzit is horrible and PvE! Loses aggro to people with PvP rolls!
AV best server ever. fuuuuu.
if u want to join a server. AV is ur choice. just read the names of the servers. CH MT TR AV FF. obvsly AV is the best
Except that FF clear raid had 0 MT transfers. There's one clearing raid in FF as of now.
