Having the exp boost event apply on release would be great especially considering Ninja and Gunner release also had double exp on release (since they were released during anniversary, which we're falling three weeks short of). As for dungeon rewards either weekend is fine since I believe we'll be moving on to the new dungeons very soon anyways(?) o:
if you dont need hurry up for leveling, why is bad idea exp event in april 22 instead april 11 ?
Because by then most people will have levelled their Valkyrie? Not everyone makes alts all the time.

The point is, they want titles and stuff for hardcore players and players that get Valkyrie early and level up early. The reward is for the players that play the game, what will the reason for all these with double XP? Double XP will make the leveling way to fast, they can do that but they need to remove all rewards because leveling up with Double XP is plain easy and stupid, no efforts.
I am glad EME is thinking things through and not making events based on community's mind-set.
I'm not sure what you're saying here, honestly. We're saying that the double exp will come too late for the titles (obviously) and isn't going to be useful to most people because levelling is already fast. And you're saying the same, yet make it sound you're taking the opposite stance...
The fact that it won't be useful to the hardcore people who want the titles and those who are in a big hurry is part of the intended design. This year they are purposefully not doing a double XP event during the class launch because they generally want people to take time (or try the hardcore challenge). The Double XP event two weekends later is a small things for stragglers, casual players, or people who want to level alts, but is not the primary focus of the earned rewards.
So basically, LesbianVi's point is that they're doing it this way on purpose, and that's the case. It's not a bug, it's a feature, even though it means it'll be "useless" to some people. For those people, they'll have the dungeon rewards instead.
