What exactly is "dropout" and how do I get rid of it?
So i am still a bit new to dungeons. I died while in an instance dungeon and got spawned somewhere outside of the dungeon completely. After a while of just wondering around not knowing how to get back, I left the party, and was told I was a dropout and could not go on another dungeon. Is this a penalty for me dying or for leaving the party? If its the latter I am sorry but I did not know how to get back to the dungeon, nor did I know that leaving the party was bad. Is there a way to rejoin a group after death and re-spawn out of the dungeon? I never quit in any game I play, I did not know dying or leaving the party would be consider bad in this case. I kind of fell bad for dying and leaving, but I thought there was no way back in. Unless I got this dropout thing from something completely unrelated but that seems unlikely. Again, I never quit whenever I play any game, i just genuenly did not know what I did was bad or what I did wrong at all. Can someone please help?

dropout is when you leave a party when doing a dungeon or battleground. you cannot queue for a battleground or dungeon while labeled as a dropout. the "debuff" lasts for 15 minutes. after it wears off, you can queue for dgs and bgs again.5 -

you get dropout for leaving a dungeon (or battleground) that isn't completed. it goes away after 15 minute of in game time and only restricts the instance matching, you can still manually go inside dungeons via portals.
don't click the resurrect outside button in dungeons. let the healer (or someone else if you're healer) ress you. you can buy scrolls to dungeons from specialty merchants in towns and i believe cities. (or maybe only hw for the cities)
but please be aware later dungeons lock you out of the room later on (or maybe only end game ones, i haven't leveld anything in ages) so you if you exit on accident you might cause your party some grief.5 -

Process to dying in dungeons
In dungeon
- always have a "Resurrection Scroll" in your inventory
- if you die, don't press the "resurrect" button https://arboreannights.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/tera-death-screen1.png?w=549&h=561 (I stole screenshots from the internet)
- if you are a "rookie" to this dungeon, the system will give you free resurrections on the spot. You can press them to resurrect immediately (take care not to resurrect into an attack). The window is different and let's you choose.
- if the healer dies, resurrect her/him. Your resurrection scroll has a 20 min cooldown (cant use it for 20 min). The healer can resurrect other team mates without cooldown
Everyone's dead and we are all outside
- keep in mind that the resurrection process is still the old one. So you are teleported back from the dungeon server to your home server and placed on the spawn point nearest to where the dungeon is located in the world - this can still be far away!
- go to the nearest speciality merchant and choose the last tab ("scrolls"). Buy the scroll for the dungeon you're playing. Use the dungeon scroll
- you are being teleported to the dungeon entrance. The dungeon entrance is a teleporter station. Choose the normal entry (no matchmaking thou your party may be through matchmaking)
- eventually help others to rejoin
- as you get to know the dungeon locations and their teleport jump gates, you will be able to use the cheaper teleport stations. However, for starters use the dungeon scrolls5
