New castanic faces all black.

I have not been able to find any thread about this peculiar issue, but first things first: Before you ask, no, i do not use any sort of mods or similar. I have repaired the client for the second time today and and the new faces for castanic female appear all black. Bug or my client is just messed up and i need to do something else other than repair?

    Your client is definitely messed up somehow -- I confirmed that the new face styles and adornments are working here.

    Probably you need to somehow force the client to do a full repair (a hash check of all files), but I'm actually not sure how to force it to do that. It seems random.

    The problematic files will be in:
    TERA\Client\S1Game\CookedPC\Art_Data\Packages\CH\PC

    Specifically, all the ones that start with "Castanic_F_L".

    Ok, after trying a few things, apparently is just the new presets 1 and 2, and on Faces, the first one. Those are all black. The rest of the faces work fine, but any preset using the Face 1 on the castanic female creation are all dark.

    After trying what you said @counterpoint the issue still persist. I guess the only way to fix it would be to re install the game so it can download the correct file.

    Well, if you really want to force it, go into the folder I mentioned and copy out all the files that start "Castanic_F", including Castanic_F_Head.gpk, Castanic_F_Face_ANI.gpk, and Castanic_F_Hair_ANI.gpk. Once you've moved them completely out of the TERA folder, then do a repair from the launcher. If the files don't exist, it should redownload them. (It'll create 35 GB placeholder files, and then download part of them.)

    Just finished doing that, no luck. Castanic new faces are still pitch black during the character creation. Something has gone horribly wrong with my client apparently.

    Yeah, only other thing I can think of is... in the distant past, people would sometimes try to place KR versions of certain model files in a secondary folder, which would override the primary folder. But given that you said you never touched any files, it must not be that. In that case... yeah, I guess reinstall in a separate folder :/

    After having re installed the game completely, the issue persist. I will assume this is an issue only EME can fix for me. I guess i won't be making a Valkyrie anytime soon.

    When you reinstalled, did you install to a completely separate folder, or did you reinstall on top of the same location?

    Otherwise, yeah, I guess so... although it doesn't really make any sense to me.

    Had to re install in the same location, as is the only one big enough for TERA. tho i made sure that after uninstall, to delete all remaining files related.

    Like i said, i am not using any mods or the sort, that includes injector. I don't even know what that is, only that some players use it to "cheat" in game. My client is just broken i guess.

    Name the installation path to something different and see if that will work
