Can't use Buddy Up code?

I'm returning to Tera after some time off. For the new class, like everyone else.

However, on my character select screen I don't have the option to enter a Buddy Up code. Meaning the little banner on the right side is not there. Is this not applicable to me or the Valkyrie for some reason?

Any help is appreciated!

    The BuddyUp System will display that little box on the Character Selection Screen ONLY if that specific Server has not be accessed in the last 30-Days.

    I believe once you log into that Server ( and hadn't accessed for 30-days ) , there will be a somewhat limited time frame to use the system to select an eligible character ( level 9 or below ) and apply another player's BuddyUp Code.
