Why doesn't nostrum stay after death like bravery potion?

See title, why do I need to use a new nostrum everytime I die, but I don't have to do that with a bravery potion / canaephora potion?

    You can just pop it back, and also we get billions of battle potions, gotta use'em some how.
  • Nostrums are cheap, unlike Braveries/Canaphoras which aren't even tradable (except a variant of the strong ones, which aren't cheap). Plus if you have Elite, you basically have an infinite nostrum.
  • Just get in the habit of having it on a shortcut key and popping it anytime you get resurrected.
  • Yeah, but if they're cheap anyway and they also drop everywhere, why would they want to make us pop a new one every single time we die, it's like extra, but unnecessary effort, specially with elite ones where when you put them on the ability tray, the screen just freezes for a few secs for some people, and you can't just bind it to a key on your elite bar either.. like, it doesn't hurt to use a new one every time we die, but what's the point?

    just be happy, you don't have to find a way to stay out of combat after ressing, pop a camp fire, pop 3 charms, a crit scroll, then nostrum every time you die.

    U remember in the old days u also have to charm 3 charms without elites?
    It is mainly to punish death and encourage staying alive, with some limitations and compromises.
    There gotta be something that stops ppl from dying all the time but it shouldn't be too punishing like old times. Also, if they change the potion to last through death, then ppl are gonna prompt about healer buffs remain after death like consumables. I am not saying it is impossible for that to happen but they need to set the bottom somewhere u know.

    The thing is back to the old days alot ppl dont even use scroll and nostrum in dungeons until more and more ppl get gears and want faster runs. Then they become mandatory almost. Then ppl r using them all the time and complaining about the inconvenience. The new option is a great change, and it also makes it even more unforgivable if running dungeons without them, and u know who to kick the moment he or she just refuses to use the potion.
