Controller Memory Leak...
Has the memory leak that happens when a controller is plugged in been fixed yet? If anyone has any new information on this bug I'd like to know.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It's totally variable. I for once, never ever had it. Others have it every time.
I gotta add that I do have an original Xbox 360 wireless controller, so there may be differences for other controllers.

When certain USB game controllers are plugged in, the game will slow down to a crawl after a certain period of activity (sometimes as little as 15-20 minutes) due to a system process bloating in CPU usage until it eventually crashes the game. You can solve the problem instantly by unplugging your controller. It's a memory leak in the way TERA interfaces with the game controller subsystem in Windows.
@counterpoint explained well how it happens in game, in therms of programming it means that your memory starts to get drained indefinitely, like a simple 10MB usage process goes north of 10GB of usage. Some programs allocate a lot of memory for huge tasks (for example 7Zip for high compression levels/big dictionary size), but this refers to the abnormal memory usage, that in turn also ends up eating CPU power to handle all the processes involved on the bug.
Correct me if I'm wrong please, I could have missed something or added too much there.
In therms of controllers, the original Xbox 360 wireless one doesn't seem to do this, not on my PC, my brother's or my friend's who all play with controller. Maybe if you use some 3rd party one it happens, but I can't test this to confirm. Also I think PS3 controllers are also supported natively without this memory leak issue.
PS3 and PS4 controllers seem to have this problem, but it may have something to do with the drivers. Until recently, PS3 and PS4 controllers needed unofficial third-party drivers to work, and this may have been a contributing cause. Now, you can actually get native drivers for them, and it's possible that the problem will resolve itself at that point. (But removing the old drivers once installed could be a bit tricky.)
Also xBox controlers.
I have PS3, PS4, xBox 360, xBox One and Steam controler and this kind of problem seem to be something from the OS.
Could it be, that exactly because you have ALSO these controllers, not just the official driver/supported ones, that it happens? Cause it never ever did that to me. And like I said, the Xbox 360 wireless controller is the only one I use. So I don't have any 3rd party drivers installed for it.
To say I have some input programs installed: my keyboard and mouse set has their shortcuts and configurations programs installed (MS Wireless Desktop 2000), but nothing else.
I have oficial drivers for all of them (except ps3) that's why i think is more like a OS issue more than anything, you know how windows like to work on diferent ways even if you have 2 pc with the same components.
