Goddess Tear Drop rate

This needs to be addressed. If you add up every players contribution/drop there *might* be enough for 4 brooches on TR atm.

    I mean, I get they are supposed to be really hard to make, but the difficulty is kinda overkill. Getting them with tokens should be a supplement, not the main way, IMO.

    The price is as it is on kTera, the major difference between our service and theirs is that they get the challenge solo dungeons, these give a different currency that allows you to buy VM7 and brooch materials, thus making the brooch less expensive (time or gold) to create.

    Shame really, at this point I doubt we will ever see the challenge dungeons (they were released in kTera prior to Ninja), we will most likely never see the Iron Battlefield either (added to kTera when they raised the lvl cap to access CS to 65, to allow lowbies to gain pvp currency).

    Even with 6 tears a day, you need 300..... (100 Tears to make 1 Gem, and you need 3 Gems for a brooch.) Soooo yeah, I'm sorry, but you're underestimating the sheer amount needed. ._.

    And yeah, I'm having a hard time getting my alt geared enough to get to the 2nd tier. Even though she has a lower ilvl, I have an easier time killing bams with her, so it's really cutting down my ability to get tokens. And then I have to do other stuff with tokens too.

    Definitely also not many making the gems are running island of dawn missions over and over they are wiping in SSHM.. Furthermore vanguards have ilvl restrictions so unless you have wasted countless gold bumping gear on alts .. thats not going to happen either.

    One more comment is on TR tears are at 4k .. so if you bought all your mats (if there are even enough to purchase (atm there are 36) it would cost 1.2 million gold

    The ilvl is pretty annoying. Gotta get more gear to get more characters able to farm...

    it needs to be change for a guarantee drop for the dungeons:ssnm,sshm,wonderholme,dfhm,abhm.
    Only 1 drops but make it guarantee because you can run like 4-5 times and not even see one.
    btw it drops from the second boss on each of the dungeons above.
    on abhm it drops on first boss.

    Mindeless IoD grindfest, especially on those nerfed bams with tiny hp pools making near no damage =/= difficulty. It's just daily-constrained misdesigned tedium.
  • They could add Goddess Tear to BG Shops as well. Would make sense.
    But goddess tear is a problem atm. 300? Is a huge number atm. In MT Broker you might have enough for 1 Brooch atm. Prices go up and down all the time. From 1k to 9k, Now sitting average at 3.2k, but that can change in less than an hour.

    One thing someone is forgetting is that the 40 tokens per daily is only part of the event It is normally 20 per daily, 60 per character. Even then, with the event and multiple characters it is still a fairly long time.

    This whole patch is a crazy grindfest. VM7? Tier 2 jewelry? PvP gear? Brooch? All of those are a crazy excessive grind.

    And we haven't even begun to hear the raging once we have more people trying to +15, with the current feedstock supplies.

    The grind of this latest patch is extremely poorly designed, especially for NA, which feels like a hackneyed mess. This patch was built 100% with ktera in mind, with zero craps given about how it will function in the NA Tera systems.

    You'd think that after all these years of developing Tera, they'd finally start looking ahead, and consider the impact on the other regions, before they go introducing new stuff.....but no, it's getting worse.

    The worst part is that if you Google the revenue generated by TERA, the NA market is the vast majority of all income. They ABSOLUTELY SHOULD BE catering to us, not Korea lol. But I suspect their egos are making the decisions, not their wallet. Interesting really, because if an NA developer made a game that was making more money in Korea, you bet your [filtered] they'd cater to Korea and not NA.

    If you really think about the lifespan of a brooch it's not bad, we've had quickcarves and empowered for how long now? 95 days sucks, but it's not bad. It's a huge huge luxury. I want it, and i'm grinding for it, and i think it'll make it that much more rewarding when I get it.

    But maybe I'm one of the only people left in the game that doesn't want [filtered] handed to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    It's....a.......brooch.....

    I could get an entire set of armor + weapon, and jewelry, more easily.

    I'd be cool with it, if it was obtained through GvG, or some other PvP related event. Or perhaps fighting over bosses with other guilds (like the good old L2 jewelry), to obtain it. That makes it a luxury item that adds more depth and fun!

    But from some PvE grind that adds nothing but more grind to the game? No
