Maelstrom goes thru boss

Anyone else been having this issue on their valk? It particularly happens whenever I die and get ress'd, and Maelstrom is the first attack I use right after getting up....it just spins me straight thru the boss and I'm awkwardly sitting on top of the tank and getting hit by front basic attacks. It's the second day it's happened now, and I'm baffled.

    Can't confirm this on my side. However, I didnt use this skill right after resurrection yet. Did you perhaps resurrect right under the boss and spin past the boss on one side? As the maelstrom is a spinning range attack, I usually use it as a peripheral attack.

    Chances are you are below the boss when you get up. The game isn't sure of where your actual position is until you use the skill, the skill pushes you forward, therefore making the game think you are at the front.

    Try moving a little to counter this glitch (it is a long standing glitch as with all melee classes actually)

    I have had all kinds of issues when getting rezzed as a valk with Mael going through the boss just one of them. Sometimes it feels like my skills get queued up when I am dead and then I rezz and I go through this attack chain. With the Lag me and another Valk I run with often felt like spinning death was becoming unaimable and we would go through the boss and around the boss. It was funny but obnoxious at the same time.

    Every time I res, using a neophyte's res, I can't use any abilities. I've just alt-f4'd up to now, but earlier today I was told that using the greeting fixes it. Really odd bug tho.

    Even at leveling I did feel this, specially true in Ebon Tower. Indeed there's a hit detection issue with it, it detects hits to boss.... bug goes trough? Feels like when Ninjas went inside Vernos in DFNM/HM during the start of that dungeon.

    I've felt that Valkyrie is otherwise quite well optimized to avoid ping dependency, it attacks blazing fast and cancels skills or piles requests easily without delays. That's feel tho, cannot prove but it at least seems like a point in the right direction.

    I went trough the effort of making a super detailed report about it but I'm still wondering the tech side even bothered with it or just went like "Eh screw this, too long" and moved on.
  • I have more of an issue where the evasive roll just keeps spamming itself even when I'm not pressing it. Its super annoying during pvp and moderately annoying in pve.

    Yes, this and the rush skill both are susceptible to triggering with the glitch described on my bug report. I could update it to match the new class but I'm not sure it will even be read so I'm not gonna bother.

    Had this issue on both the roll and the rush one do this too.

    I experience exactly what you wrote in your bug report especially on rez and I honestly thought I had a problem with my mouse and bought a new one today. Glad to see I am not the only one with this issue.
