How to delete story quest item?

Created a new character and game lagged out while picking up the beginning mud story quest item and ended up with an extra one. Tried to delete but game says I cant delete story quest item. Now its sitting in my bag taking up space.
Anyone know how to get rid of it?

    You're going to have to sumbit a ticket to the En Masse support team if you want this item removed. All you need to do is select the right issue and explain to them what your problem is and what you would like done.

    We should make a thread on the suggestions section of the forum to allow deleting of any quest item and just allow us to reset the quests that require such item.
    In fact some quests allowed us to delete the item but not reset until you got that item, so maybe that's why they went the annoying route and locked it down.

    I left a quest item in my felicity for like 4 years and then I finally asked EME to give me the other quest items so I could complete the quest

    Which item is it? most of the items should disappear on its own if you've cleared the quest.. and most that do stay can be discarded :o

    I mentioned its the beginning mud quest. Never noticed till mid lv 30's when I finally started clearing my bag to make space

    I feel your pain OP. I currently have FOUR items in my valk's bag that I can't delete because they're quest items......such a pain. We should be allowed to delete quest items, but I guess for now I'm going to have to join you in opening a ticket.

    I can confirm some quest items cannot be destroyed even if you clear it. and one of the most well known one is Seal-Deactivation Scroll which you use in Cultist Refuge Story quest where you and Elleon use it to prevent Samael's Resurrection by destroying the soul stone.

    Another is probably the item you use to make this thing for Kelsaik's Nest too.. some kind of torch?

    There's a chance where you can pick up more than you needed, and then end up with an one extra in your bag. I've been seeing this with a lot of gathering quest items that used to be x1 now be x2 or x3 (with the increased number of gathered materials for a higher PP cost patch). This can also happen when you're gathering a quest item and an auto-loot pet picks up another quest item at the same time. The original poster has said they're LV 30 now, indicating that the quest was completed... as they can't go any farther once that instance starts. I've already instructed them to where they need to go to get this item removed, and there is no need to continue the conversation.

    For any players who have items after they've completed the quest and you are unable to discard them, I suggest to sumbit a ticket to the En Masse support team if you want the item removed.

    Not necessarily I still have a level 20 quest item and completed the quest a long time ago

    When you have gathering quest you can sometimes gather more than need it so some can remain in your inventory and you can delete those, I feel like I am teaching small children here

    Do you have problems reading, by any chance? They tried to do that, but cannot (Tried to delete but game says I cant delete story quest item). And they're way past finishing the quest (Never noticed till mid lv 30's).
