Fix Servers first

I think you need fix servers, make ping low,no ping spikes like 643kms,and more optimization before you do banning.

    MMHH? explain yourself...
  • kinda sucks with the dps meters. i find them useful for knowing your maximum potential. i have never used on in this game as i did not take it seriously like i did WoW.
  • Well I don't know man, the reason they aren't eager beavers to fix "lag" and "ping spikes" is because at the moment they really can't.. the servers themselves are really old and if the data gets lost while changing out the routers then you could possibly lose your information w/ no return.
  • yeah meters show how you improve on your dps..
also this [filtered] servers got always in mid fight like 643k ms spikes
  • i think they can make a back up files
but its too long to make that though

Yeah it is kind of stupid to raid accounts for dps meters. Really the only beneficial bands are needed for merchant bots and other bots that [filtered] with people's playing GIVING THEM STRESS TO BUY IT ALLLL

no, that's just the new meme.
They did say they would ban proxies if these proxies were being used as a means of hacking, if not then nothing to worry.
Not to mention it's not like there's just one proxy option available nor did they say at all that they were banning all proxies.

People are just blowing it out of proportions cause that's how it works in this world. Same with the influenza cases, a handful dies of the disease = life will be extinguished from earth, live your last seconds to the fullest.

I don't think we're blowing it out of proportion when a GM says:
"Any third party tool or modification of the TERA client is a violation of the TOS and will fall under this. There won't be any exceptions. If you are thinking, "but what about XXXXX? Is it ok?" the answer is: "No. It's not." and you should expect action to be taken."

it's ALWAYS been on the TOS, it's like getting a megaphone and screaming on the streets "ANY CRIMINALS WILL GET BUSTED AND GO TO JAIL!!". It's blatantly obvious. They're stating the obvious, because the obvious suddenly had to be stated given the situation getting out of hand - Emporium rewards exploits, people blatantly showing how to use injectors and macros and so it goes. Heck I've seen an invincible dude in Iron BG.

How far will the witch hunt go only Enmasse staff knows, and they'll obviously not tell us for the exact reason they posted the topic: scare the ones that deserve it.

I'll bet my body that you'll not get hunt down for performance fixes by tweaking the S1.Engine file, or even bothering with the DPS meter.

People that harass others by having low DPS numbers should get banned for harassing anyway so nothing of value is lost. The ones that just give out tips to improve yourself and use it to improve themselves I don't see them as hunting them down.

But obviously: they'll reply here and say me they WILL hunt down actively any of the likes, because, hey, that's their work after all. You never see police officers bursting inside your house for downloading a pirate game (mass pirating not included here), but they'll always tell you it's a crime with all the fines evolved.

Except it's not such a simple problem, lots of nuances there, expecially for people who have been playing for more than some GMs have been GMs.

See, some GMs knew what was going on and reassured the community, hence they were liked. Newer GMs not so much.
The so easily exploitable diamond jackpot event was a clear clue that current GMs just do and say stuff without thinking about it for more than 2 minutes. I really dislike this attitude they have, it's like they hate having to think and instead repeat orders like a robot.

That screenshot has to be a long time ago before they remove the stamina system right?
