I would really like an actually clarification about this statement:

Leave asside the memes and shitposts and whatever else.

This is very vague, and the topic was clossed not allowing the option to have a discussion about this.

Some ini tweaks are what are making this game playable for a lot of players.

Thank you and this clarification we want is from you EME not by some player to explain what was posted in that topic.

Or have a discussion here about this issue currently at hand.

    Don't expect a response from them. They keep deleting threads because talking about it is against the rules. Which is something that I think is kinda dumb in this context.

    EME you are nothing without your game. You are nothing without your customers, your playerbase. When the majority of your playerbase needs to express your feedback, you silence them.

    That's how you lose playerbase. That's how you lose business.

    Easier said than anything else, EME could just.. authorize people to allow specific tweaks to certain specific files so people could get better frame rates. that's been what, 80% of the forum threads so far, and those deleted as well.

    Except many users have had to go into their .ini files to make small tweaks just to play the game. The game runs like [filtered], they refuse to optimize, so many players, if they want to play, have to resort to disabling mouse smoothing, disable boss bars from shaking, etc.Is this harming anyone? No. Many players have amazing gaming rigs, so it's not their hardware.

    What many users want is clarification to see if this will get them banned. To see if simply trying to make the game playable is going to get them banned.

    EME needs to clarify, stop deleting stuff, or optimize their game.

    The problem isn't whether you get banned or not, the problem is a Quality of Life issue where gamers who still want to play the game can't because enforcing the ToS makes the game unplayable (low frame rate).

    Why go public about changes? Why yell? Few years it was kept personal, so many public exploits. I say, if it is happening, it is because community let it happen. You think I am happy about all these? I don't have a nice rig and a nice net, I am playing the game, it is playable and I haven't modded anything. I say, we are exaggerating, I say, instead of just making crying threads. Keep it personal and wait see what is happening. People just assuming and making threads about it over and over again.

    It's definitely not okay when i have much more stable ping in KTERA with 180ms and smoother gameplay at 25fps without a single modifications done. But on NA i'm sitting at 300ms with less than 10 fps on same settings untouched. To get the very same result, i had to modify the game and rely on proxy for smoother gameplay.

    If you play lancer at multiple ping, you'd understand. At 300 ping it is almost impossible to play normally to hold aggro at all unless i go back to how tanking used to be with spank tank shout.

    Now if you are going to ask where i live, take your best bet.

    People i am asking mainly about the engine.ini tweaks people who cheat or use tools that actually affect the game or manipulate stats or anything of that sort deserve to be banned.

    My concern is the tweaks that help with this games very and i can't stress enough how very poor optimization this game has.
