Need pro Warrior Tank advice

I just started to try out Warrior tanking, so I'm still quite bad at it. When fighting bosses who have rather "long" windup animation, it's rather easy for me to tank, but when facing bosses that like to constantly bombard you with attacks, while having very short windup animation, it either uses up my RE very quickly, or I have to keep canceling edge generating skills to block, making it very hard to tank/generate aggro
An example of this is LKNM 2nd boss (Arachandlebra or smth), where it likes to do the frontal sweep attack with it's legs, which staggers/knocks you down if you don't block fast enough, and is very fast when enraged, It also does the triple front swipe, sometimes 2x in a row, and I can never find a time in between swipes to gain edge, especially when enraged. This also leads to me running out of RE since I can't hit the boss that much, and randomly spamming DFA just for RE is gonna get me hit by attacks at the end of the animation. If anyone is a experienced with warrior tanking please comment below about how to tank such bosses. Thanks.

I've got a run coming up for you that I recorded just right after reading your post :)

Edit: Alright so I have two videos that show bosses with very fast animations:
and <-- This is the LKNM run

You can clearly see I'm abusing the hell out of attack speed on warrior; I always try to squeeze in attacks like Combative Strike and Poison Blade for their RE + edge gaining purposes + good deeps in CS's case. I've also memorized every BAM in the game; every boss in TERA's dungeons is a BAM with special attacks. If you know the BAM, you know how to fight it, and then you just need to watch out for the special attacks they come with.

I would recommend just getting comfortable with block cancels and knowing when a boss's attack animation actually connects. Keep practicing and you'll be comfortable with any bam you fight :) Good luck!

I've tanked Kornus of VoK several times. Yeah it's hard but it's doable. I'm quite aware that scythe is a warrior's highest aggro generating skill. Honestly you have it lucky now. In the past edge was shared between warriors, which means more likely than not, I didn't actually get to use scythe, but I still held aggro without it, for what it's worth. Although in the video I was using all damage on my gear, since I was trying to push myself, but it would've been easy if I switched to my aggro gear.

If you have concerns about holding aggro, my advice is this.

    1) Stack aggro on your gear, although as for jewelry, only tank rings are worth it. Stacking aggro is overpowered compared to crit/power with the squared aggro formula change with Brawler patch.
    2) If you haven't read this guide, I recommend reading it. As well as this one, specifically the rotation part.
    3) While you can block everything, it isn't the most optimal in terms of gameplay. Warrior tank is designed around taking hits, that's why RoB, RF, Pounce and ToB have damage reduction on them. I'd also use RF when necessary since it's easily block cancelled. You notice on the first boss at 1:49 I specifically use Rising Fury, because it's so easy to block cancel. It's not very good damage, but it's still something. At the time I kept ToB in my rotation in place of Poison Blade since I didn't use Noctenium.
    4) If you read guides, you will definitely notice that Pumped/Keen etchings offer more raw DPS than Energetic. However I am in favor of Energetic for tanking since it gives you more utility and makes tanking fast attacking bosses much easier.

Other than that, it's practice. You have to know how to optimally block cancel your skills, and you have to know the BAM really well. Even if it seems really random, every boss fight is scripted. As stated by ThoseWhoStrive, CS and PB are good filler. Combative Strike is especially good imo.

Depends on the dungeon fight. If you're a good warrior tank and not lagging like I do sometimes, you can honestly never take any damage and lose HP sans the HP reduction from combative strike spams. This also applies to Lancer and Brawler of course, but yes, if you try, you don't HAVE to rely on damage reduction and still maintain 100% aggro uptime.

Well, I'm not sure what to say. I stopped playing a long time ago but I can show you a video of me tanking. Here. 2nd and 3rd boss I would consider fast attacking bosses. But a good tank should normally not be having issues with resolve, since even fast attacking bosses should leave time in between for attacks. However, for that specific boss you mentioned it seems if you want to block everything you're probably going to run out of resolve.

From the videos I've watched it seems hard to block, but not impossible. I found this video, which is proof enough it isn't impossible. DFA definitely doesn't look like a good choice. I recommend abusing the auto-block on ToB. While it's not easily block cancelled, it still can be block cancelled to a certain degree. I'd also abuse the BD chain from Cross Parry. Unless the boss is special, I think you should be able to abuse RoB's KD immunity? See class changes #4.

I do believe that you have the expertise of a good warrior tank, and I appreciate your response, but unfortunately your answer did not give me any better insight as to what I can do for such bosses which are very hard to predict. I would liken this boss to Kornus of VoK, who is a Lancer boss and his stabs are unpredictable as [filtered]. You need like extreme reaction speed to be able to block his initial attacks while you're attacking him with combos yourself. The issue with these bosses is that even though they leave time in between their attacks, Warriors rely on combos to build edge stacks TO be able to generate aggro with scythe, and I do not have enough time in between their attacks to finish a combo before I get hit. Not to mention some of Warrior's skills have an initial animation lock, causing me to get hit even when I try to block cancel.
I understand that the video you'd provided was to show that the fast attacks are blockable, since it shows a Lancer tanking and not a Warrior, but my main concern in my original post is how to tank (aka generate aggro without dying) effectively against such bosses, when I'm unable to initiate combos fast enough to not get hit by the next attack. Even if I can block all the boss's attacks while spamming ToB, I highly doubt it's going to generate enough aggro without me being able to scythe often as well.
Also, I have been trying to abuse the BD chain from Cross Parry, but that is leaving too much in the hands of RNGesus, seeing as it's a 50% chance to reset BD and I would get rekt with the 10s cooldown if it doesn't reset.

As a side note, I can't even find a proper Warrior tank doing lknm/hm on youtube. The only one that's available just shows a Warrior tank getting gear carried, since he loses aggro and isn't even tanking properly.

    Send help pls!

Thanks for the response guys. I really appreciate it. Will try your tips and see if I can get better.

Oh btw I forgot to ask: since warrior tanking relies on taking calculated hits with dmg reduction skills, then I have to assume that it's really only viable if your party is good right? Else idk how the healer is going to manage healing you constantly if your dps is also getting hit to near death all the time.
