    No idea what causes this, but both energy stars and immer have both failed to do anything and went on cd for me as well.

    I find Immer to be kinda difficult to use, a lot more difficult than a lock on spell was probably intended to be. Even though it is a awesome spell, I tend to not use it that often due to how difficult it is to get locked on and to actually fire (and then for it to do nothing every once in a while is just no).

    I know for a fact that energy stars is only effective on two dimensions. Since healing immersion is also a 'splash' effect then it's possible that a z-coord difference or glitch can screw up the effect. Same applies to resurrect, as pointed out earlier. Given enough lag, anything can fall through floors, which some players can attest to.

    Occasionally lock-on skills just plain fail for no good reason other than lag/desync. I try to avoid using these abilities near max range.
