Is it possible that we don't get the changes to BC/Ks credits and BG store?
Before I get to the topic, reason I brought this is PVP currently is in a bad shape already, BHS is not doing anything to revive it. and pretty much sure EME sent feedback about unequalized BGs ages ago. And also just jackpots are not reviving PVP, so EME please focus on this matter a bit more.
Anyway, I don't think those new changes gonna do much good, what you people think?
I put this in here, because BG is something that most people do and it is a general thing on NA and bringing it down can't hurt the game badly.
Also EME, please keep weekend jackpots like the one we have and rotate it each weekend, and do the things you can doto revive PVP. Even many pvers on some levels get to do PVP time to time and pvpers get to do pve, for different experience. So it will really help the whole community.

Long answer: Well, several things actually.
1) Victory Boxes imo aren't inherently worse than BC/KS credit system. You have a chance at a material you need every time you win, you get equal reward even if you didn't KDA tryhard the whole match, and most importantly there's no more weekly cap. These are positive changes.
2) The lack of unequalized battlegrounds likely has more to do with the lack of dedicated PvP gear from this point forward. Conflate worked as a way to balance VM players in Fraywind, but this option is going away. BHS seems to be in the mindset that PvP gear is a) Too much work; and b) is inconvenient to players who have to earn and enchant/roll/dyad multiple sets of gear, which is inefficient. Of course they could just wrap PvP stats onto other non-VM sets, but let's not expect common sense from BHS.
3) EME is kinda limited as far as jackpots go. Not wanting to "break the economy" with Diamonds, they've decided to stick with mostly character-bound items aside from Feedstock. What other incentives would you like to see?
4) Rotating full-weekend Jackpots? Considering GameForge couldn't find a way to double both Victory Boxes *and* the letters of encouragement, I'm willing to bet Jackpots are how EME would use incentives in the future rather than just double boxes. Just my guess.
5) Anything nice PvP players get will upset many PvE'ers. Careful things aren't too balanced or you'll see whining threads on these forums.
6) We couldn't even keep low-level Outlaw, with the reason given being "merging builds." I doubt they'll let us keep something like the Credit System (which, again, I'm not convinced is any better than the new one we're getting).
I can bust that right now. Top 3 KDA heroes get more boxes than the rest of the winning team.
Wasn't that changed later to accommodate that healers would never get top 3?
That was fixed shortly after. I doubt we'll see it in our version.

I think BG is worth doing since the reward boxes will have chance to give you VM 9 mats I mean what more do you want

Resizing Kits for VM8 drop at the publisher's discretion.

You can't earn BC/KS from next patch, but you can spend what you earned.
Since it's with the Harrowhold Patch, most probably Harrowhold.

Oh boy, so Bonanza box will be removed? I die getting SES and Spellbind for my alts w/o them. Rawr
Completely random drops from a box just won't do, sometimes you could end up with TONS of unused stuff, like I did with VM materials when I just wanted enchant materials.
Until I see how these boxes work I'll not say I like it or not, I have mixed feelings about the situation as of now, the cons are above, and the pros would be that usually low rewarding tasks like kiting mama and ladder guards in CS, or healers, would get the same drops, as they deserve. In other hand plain bots who sit on the BG waiting to get carried will also get as much as top player? Not fair at all in this regard.
