CS getting through that choke point?

So lately there have been a lot of CS matches where it is nearly impossible to get through the choke on inner gate once the gate breaks, which is great if your defending but if your attacking its terrible, so how do you break through that point when they have a great hold of it? any one know any strategies besides trying to climb inner ladders, that will only work if they dont have people on ladders.

    You can bring a tank from mid/outside and position it so you can shoot the inner cannons and the choke point. Just make sure the enemy doesn't take control of the tank or they'll wedge it in the door and make things worse.
  • It's not that hard, idk why everyone has so much trouble with this.
    Brawler bullrush w/ kaias into ground pound.
    Ninja giant shuriken
    The new classes make it a ton easier to get through now.
  • Also making sure that for the people who get manage to get inside to kill the sieges. They are essential to maintaining that choke point.

    Send the brawlers in, you can shoot with the mid turrets on the gate, use the iframes to get in, have full def crystals it helps a lot when attacking and taking a large amount of damage.

    I think the point is that you don't have many brawls/lancers but you have a lot of ninjas instead.

    Squishy chars have an hard time pushing throug the choke point, and its impossible to organize a 2/3 [filtered] bombers to run togheter to thin down the enyramcw by a bit.

    I like that it can be tough to break in. It makes it so that defenders don't have to lose all hope once the gate falls.

    It sucks that your team lose hope almost always when you start in attack tho.

    The above members that have posted are correct. That choke point is essentially AOE specialists firing on the door along with the two sieges that continuously keep shooting to prevent the other team from entering. Like the above mentioned, use balders vengeance, to knock down the other team along with brawlers Divine Wrath. While they cast that, ninjas can start flowing in with smoke bombs for others to follow up with them. Your priority is to take that siege out prevent that door from being choked and keep it down till the remainder of the fight. Once a couple members start hitting the anchorstone, the enemy team usually starts to panic and forget about the door which is essentially the biggest mistake. But very well organized teams will continue to choke that door and maintain their position and only 3-4 members can cover the leakers that come through the door.

    I think that probably the worst issue is the required coordination to get in place.

    It's enough a ground pound to give your side that 3s to pass through with thinned aoe, but it's nearly impossible that people would follow that as a plan, more likely by coincidence if you bull rush to overtake your people to give 'em an exploitable opening.

    i wouldn't have too much of an issue with it if we weren't back to the meta game of placing tanks in front of the door. it's why inner tank can't be brought into the room. it's why the turrets inside were added. it's stupid.

  • I second getting gunners to use Balder's to make the enemies move out of the way.
