    I just tested it a few times. I didn't get the bug. Seems to be working normally for me :o

    maybe its only on vow ress? i just got home ill test it as well
    Edit: tested (normal, vow and godess blessing resses) and didn't get get the glitch, maybe it was fixed.

    I have noticed the animation problems!!! I knew something didn't look right, but it was hard to tell if it was my character lagging in some way because, as a High Elf Male, the summoning animation isn't that messed up.


    I'm thinking Bluehole must have changed the summoning animation for all the races' mystic but somewhere along the line, the summoning animation for the scepters didn't get changed to match the new style.
  • I've noticed that if I give Thrall of Protection an attack command and then attack something else, he'll target what I'm fighting. After what I'm fighting is dead he'll re-target what I told it to. This is annoying because I often use ToP to distract certain enemies while we focus on other things. But now he'll just drag them over to us instead. The attack command should override the auto-targeting, not the other way around.

    Another thing that's a minor annoyance is the fact that you can't easily dismiss Thrall of Vengeance anymore. Previously I would just summon ToP to get rid of it but now the only way is to either let it time out, die, or summon it somewhere else (or summon Wrath but I don't consider that an option). With it attacking everything around it now it sometimes causes things to aggro on me when I forgot it was still alive somewhere. It's not a huge issue though. Actually was kind of funny to see the aggro circle randomly appear on me.

    As for boomerang skill. on Sorc we have the same issue but it is also adjust to range. You notice the further away you the skill travels more true to the cross hairs. It is annoying none the less since each skill is offset.

    @Goldsun that's strange, the command overrides the current objective when using wrath, I don't see why they wouldn't do the same for protection.
    It would be nice to get a "dismiss thralls" skill but since ktera does not have one I doubt we will get one.

    @Aulon it's a pretty annoying glitch since it tends to send the boomerang underground, making it useless. Even if more range usually sends it closer to targe, as a healing skill it's vital to be able to use it at any of the possible ranges. This glitch probably was caused when they made the projectile speed faster without checking if aim was affected.

    I agree it is annoying but you will get used to it a lot faster then it will get fixed, took them 3 years to fix the tele glitch and 5 to fix vow.

  • I also noticed the casting location of TOV now depends of the direction the character is facing and not the player's camera.
    It has been pretty annoying because, for example, a basilisk is jumping to a spot which my mystic happens to be facing, and the thrall just ends up getting spawn-killed. :neutral:
  • @Nennai It's already been mentioned on the first post. Not too sure if it's intended or a bug though. But it's been added to the list, just in case :)
  • Also I notice the summoning time for both thrall of protection and thrall of vengeance is now longer comparing to before the patch, might be due to the different animation and the animation lock being longer.

    I believe its because of the animation change, however the thralls appearing where the character looks instead of the camera does seem to be a bug.

    Updated to include new problem found regarding Boomerang (Projectile no longer follows mystic on return, instead it returns in a straight line and does a sharp turn after, unless you jaunt) and included the respective gifs.
