HH reset

Since it was a mistake on patch notes, and the raid did not reset at the time written there, can we expect some kind of compensation or thus company will just play dumb?

its EME, which do you think is more likely to happen out of those two options you gave :^)
  • Okay, it did just reset... but, can some GM answer why the reset timer wasn't updated after daylight savings? Can this be one addressed issue on next patch? @Spacecats @Noesis

this applies to CU time as well
  • Not every location in the world or even in the continental US resets times twice a year. So the server time is the server time.
I love how players expect to be "compensated" for their lost gaming time or experiences. Did you lose employment opportunities? Did you lose real life money-making time? Give me a break. grow up.
  • Compensation for losing an hour of time. What?

Yeah it was an inconvenience but it at least did reset and a lot of people brought up that the daylights saving time could delay it.

A lot of people went to bed for my raid but we were still able to clear without a full 30. Another guild was still able to get two runs in.

While unfortunate that we lost an hour it's not a full blown tragedy. I'd rather see compensation for more important issues like server lag and crashes.

Well, on patch notes they said 5am server time, but it only reset at 6am server time :D so yeah, I think this is miscommunication and needs to be addressed in the future

There are a handful of places that do not observe DST in the continental states. Both the locations of the servers and EME's headquarters observe DST.

In addition, the is a North American server, catering to North American players as their market. The majority of US players live in areas that observe DST. This means they wake up earlier/later. They go to work and school earlier/later. Businesses open and close earlier/later. DST is a fact of daily life for the majority of players in the US.

A reasonable request to hear if this will be looked at in the future is not needing to grow up. It is part of the communication between playerbase and publisher. If it can't be changed as a part of the server's operation, then a simple answer by EME is fine. They are just asking questions.

I suggest you should grow up.
