Awesome update!

So basically new gear but just added more hp to dungeons to make up for it, so basically i just need to spend a buncha money to have the 2 cancel each other out...
"New" mechanics in old dungeons. More hp = new mechanics now I guess.
So glad my tokens are useless now and I get to grind more apparently for the simple reason they wanted to change the name of em.

Was fun tho, was very fresh and new...for about 10 minutes. Actually just regret quitting what I was doing to even bother to log in. Bravo update...bravo.

But if only they had fixed the controller bug...I coulda done without everything else

Not actually new gear ever either they just add some numbers. I can't remember them EVER adding actual new gear models besides new class armors.

Most games do, except ya know they're not pointless. Please tell me the sense in changing tokens? Make old ones useless simply for the sake of making you grind new ones and changing the name?? Pointless.

The update has been out in Ktera for months. It has been out in EU for weeks. All content was known. Everyone was given ample notice to use items that would be change or removed.

Last Patch's update did the same thing. Two new dungeons (LK, RM,) and two old dungeons (Vault of Kaprima, Sky Cruiser Hard.)

If you don't like the update, talk to Bluehole. They create the content. You don't walk into a fast food restaurant and yell at the manager for changing the menu, when a corporate VP made the decision to change it do you?

I have been back for 2 weeks and was rather excited to get on the ground floor of a new patch. I took almost 2 years off of Tera, and today was another flash of reality why. Though I cannot comment on the OP's issue, there is a reason why. The new Tera update wants me to reinstall the entire game......again. I so missed the little quirks from Tera and EME/BHS. Good luck with the "new" dungeons and gear, have a good time with the new grind. I know my current grind of an 8-12 hour download because these two companies combined cannot get their software to work properly.

Edit: I found the root cause. The Tera installer decided to try and place a second copy of Tera on a blank hard drive on my computer. Without me telling it to and for no apparent reason. I had to uninstall the phantom version of Tera to make the launcher redo what it was supposed to do in the first place. My thinking on this though, I shouldn't have to re-engineer their software to "fix" a problem that should have never occurred in the first place. I have yet to verify if this even made the problem go away.

@Counterpoint, I don't touch my tera files, nor do I use third party software. This is entirely a Tera issue, and one that I have had to deal with since the inception of the game. I have had to reinstall on many occasions. That used to be, years ago, the only way to solve certain issues the game would have.

You should really contact support about this; it's really not normal that it do this. If it's triggering the auto-repair, it could be because you've made some modification to your client (such as removing video files, etc.) and your launcher.log file should tell you what exactly is triggering it. Also, despite sometimes creating placeholders for the whole game, an auto-repair won't normally actually redownload everything really.

But in any case, this isn't a launcher/software problem, but relates to something else on your PC, or other changes done, that's causing this to happen. It should be investigated and can probably be fixed.

Veterans get endgame gear within 1 week of patch less if eme does some stupid handout events + spend emp to by gear

Back then u could legit complain about grind but at current state of game er no.

Of course I can. New gear nice, but why? To run some old dungeons that they added some HP to? So everything's just a damage spong.........................sorry nodded off there just thinking about it.

I'm sure they can. I'm sure I can too been playing for about 4 years. Most other games have this stuff called "content" in addition to gear updates. Most of those game's the gear is actually new as well. Not just some new numbers. Here we have some new numbers to take on some new numbers. No new levels, skills, content. Just some new numbers for the SOLE reason to make the stuff I have obsolete.

You assume people read other regions patch notes? Or follow that stuff closely......I mean if you do great...sad, but great. Most of us don't.

Sweet you must not know how to read. If you did you would see that I'm talking about the change being pointless not that I didn't know. It's ok I'm sure they have a literacy program in your community. Yes you're right I could and still can use my tokens. What is your point exactly? I can use my old tokens to buy some ring at 200 a pop or use the new tokens at 30 a pop. Why not just convert my old tokens? Or just update that tokens shop?

"talk to BlueHole" adorable you must be new to the whole Asian game comes to murica and the west concept. Because you know the history of this game...BlueHole has a long history of listening to any region besides Korea huh. Hell I shouldn't be talking to my local municipal court about my parking ticket I should be talking to the supreme court!
