Lag Issues? Not all of us are having them.

I keep seeing a lot of people screaming, ranting, and all around freaking out over Lag issues. I am wondering how many people are actually having them in game and how many aren't.

My ping is still holding between 40-70 while I saw someone screaming theirs was at 12,000.

I am aware all servers are down currently so I can't log in to grab screenshots. Even in Kumas when half my team was complaining about the lag, I was running smoothly.

I am not going to yell at EnMasse for Lag issues because in truth I am not having any problems outside of the servers being down. I had some lag the day of Valk release but haven't had any since then.

So I am just curious if anyone, besides me, is not lagging.

    @KarmaTheAlligator Might I ask when your major lag began happening? I am trying to figure all this crap out I know I do lag some when at my moms because she has slower and weaker internet than my home provider. I will admit if I keep my graphics at a max I begin to lag more but keeping them at a 3 I haven't had any issues.

    Either my net is on steroids or my PC is which is now making me feel like the odd man out.

    my problem started about 2 days ago at max with screen freezes for like 3 secs and couple of lags in certain dungeons and areas

    My ping started increasing (from a steady 120 to 160+) some time between Spellbound and the Valk patch, and every now and then I get a lot of either desyncs (when I can't attack at all for a few seconds) or rubber-banding. But, I know my ISP isn't the best, so I was willing to admit that the problem wasn't necessarily on EME's part.

    Yesterday, though, was the worst it ever got, with desyncs lasting up to 30 seconds for everyone in the raid.

    Lag is mostly different person to person, people get lag from Packet loss or their own poor ISPs, but alot of people see the packet loss coming from server side. Its a valid reason to be upset at enmasse since its been happening for years.

    Also log in servers being down for this long is pretty damn valid a reason too.

    It might be that because of your already high ping you don't notice the lag. I am normally around 30-50 and I noticed the slightest change in input and what no but the most damning evidence for me is when I am in discord and my entire party lets out a collective sigh when the server just pauses.

    Agreed there. On my old PC I was lucky to get to 10 fps so I understood the lag. I couldn't even do event's because it was so fricken horrid so I do think PC issues could relate to some of the lag. I am however ticked at the servers being down I wanted to try out the new dungeons since I was too sick to do them yesterday.

    my ping is normaly 190-200 max and its not my pc....i have a prety good pc and same about my internet and all that and like i said before it wast happening like 4 days ago fps drops always happen because the game is optimized like crap but the lag...yesterday a was in sabex armory and screen froze for like 3 sec and then 3 ppl got dc only me and the healer ´survived´ that mass lag/dc/crash and that wastn happening a week ago for me at least so....

    at 150-200 ping I most certainly do notice lag.
    And there is also a huge difference between ping related 'lag' and server lag.
    And in my experience i haven't had any issues with server lag except ofcourse the major freeze yesterday.

    You seem to be confusing ping and fps.

    I see. A lot of people on Discord are telling me they too are lagging like the dickens. I normally don't do dungeons so maybe that is why I am not getting the lag of death? It seems to be a constant thing in dungeons I haven't had the problem doing Dailes or Kumas , I may have to run a dungeon when the servers are up to see if it happens to me too.

    You seem to be confusing ping and fps.

    Not really I just never tested my PING before but I know my Ping now is 40 MMS and my fps is 60-100.

    Playing with 300+ ms, I barely noticed some lag issues except when it gets to 500+ ms.
    I guess I can adapt this lag just like how I transitioning from 250ms to 300ms months ago.
