You mean you "HAD" a ticket in for 2 weeks.
Like many people I had tickets in (2) for nearly 3 weeks and they did the ol' heave ho and auto replied we're closing your tickets. And those were for outfit swaps on race changers that I paid $$$ for. Years back they had the staff turn around on this stuff in generally 1-3 days tops.
It is apparent with the revolving door of employees now that they don't have that connection to "care truly" about this game.
But like all companies they mainly see this from a cash n go kind of setup. It's kind of like going to a fast food restraunt and they forget your item you ordered or it isn't the correct one. They will eventually give you the thing you ordered but it may have spit in it
ALSO don't overuse race changers even if you are highly medicated irl and can't make decisions.....THEY DO BAN for this. True story. Even though you really paid $$ for them, not with in game gold.
Yeah that is a different ban.
I was referring to the paid in store item "race changer". I had issues deciding which race I wanted to be and had them change the outfits to the new race I went to. Eventually they just banned me for it. At the time I had started new medications and spent about $700 in the game. I did buy some costumes with that money, but I didn't even know what was going on at the time. Needless to say I purchased the store bought item in their online shop and got banned for using it too much. Needless to say the race changers I bought pretty much paid the bills for the tickets I had made. And I was elite status at the time, So they also kept that money and I got no access to the game during that time.
Not a sob story but a story to show if you are a paying customer or customer who spends $0 ever in the game....you are equally not cared about. Which also shows how little they care about anyone spending irl money in the game in the future.
But for others it's shout out or warning if you will. If you change a race stick with it. Otherwise never buy cash shop costumes and ask for them to provide the service they already have set up in the ticket system and openly state they help you with.
I used to play tera tons of time a day but between doc/psych stuff I get less play time. And going outdoors....biggest challenge....cause all the violent people, ones driving not paying attention, ones on drugs, diseases...etc. I know what you mean by using games to leave this world, luckily now that I can sleep without too much ptsd issues that world is a slightly less twisted place that I spend my life in.
Well not to destroy in game love, but most of the chats in the game are filled with endless sexual commentary. Even reporting it never resolves the issue. And I won't go on about some elin outfits....that are a little too sexualized looking.
Don't get me wrong I love anthro and semi anthro characters with nature loving backgrounds. Elins are great, but not when they are majority [filtered] fodder for the larger part of the servers and their trashy [filtered] & sexual troll names.
Here's the thing...if you are going to be blunt or snarky, you need to have some situational awareness. As in, you need to be able to figure out if somebody asked a stupid question because they are stupid or because they think you are stupid(as a result of your actions). A well-placed burn can be a good thing as it'll bring the general mood up(I chuckled a little at the feedstock answer) but being "edgy" all the time regardless of the context is, well, not edgy.
I try as well. I just didn't expect it when using an item they sell for your irl cash. And the guy on the ticket was super rude...one of those type of people that shouldn't be working a job that they just take their ego/frustrations out on you.
I'm disabled but not on disability and have spent tons of time in this game, but not as much as I did in other rmmos.....staying up 1-2 days to get a beast tame or waiting for npc to spawn on x day and y time of the month. But i can say if I got through the level of completion per each character I have some did the achievements before laurels were even thought of, which always made me feel good at first....until season changes happen and you have to grind again lol.
I have all 65's one of each class 7 are diamond, 3 are gold? and rest are silver/copper. I always loved going back through the stories, getting lost in the quests of helping certain areas. I would get champion on 3 of them but I prefer the blue border, so I keep them close to champion to avoid having to mindlessly farm new achievements.
My all time favorite area in the game is Eldritch Academy. That area although somewhat annoying years ago with mob respawns and lower damage at level still remains my favorite due to the witch/halloween theme. Pora Elinu/Popolion quest areas are pretty cool in general.
But yeah I have all that invested in the game, got banned for using their cash shop item after dumping irl money.
And back to original chat I feel they didn't care and now are caring even less about the game.
I started several years ago in tera, losing it just made me quit for a year and go to another game. I'd still be playing that game if they hadn't adopt the "you need a whole map of people" system to get through your personal story updates and events.
I agree. Could the words have been taken differently than he wrote....not really. But even looking at it from that point of view, he could have used a more friendly way to word it.
Even talking about it or posting things like that could probably get you banned. Why? They like to use that "we can make up stuff as we go" slogan for the ToS.
I bet this post gets deleted or closed out.
Staying on topic:
Years back I would say they cared about this game to a point where the employees actually played it. I even played with tonka on CH, some of the other people from enmasse would log in chat and hang out with us, in game, during events.
I doubt this guy even plays tera, if he does it's only during work hours and to do work stuff vs playing it daily like a lot of us do.
