Your talking about a 80% millennial base and 90% of those are self entitled whiners and that is what they do when they can't have there way.
Defend their poor service? Have you even red my posts recently? Also, yeah, and they twitted, made in game announces one hour before maint each 15 mins, and when reached 15 mins mark, each 5 mins. I said, forums should have been included too, but I don't get why people see themselves so smart and others fool. Sorry, but I see no point there but salt. Also this is Thursday, 1st Thursday after big patches always had maint, also a new costumes coming, so another sign. But no, lets us call everyone not smart and white knight.
I don't cry about oh why you didn't put it on forums, I complain about 3 days, each day from Tuesday servers went down, also it was discussed and talked a lot anyway, so you think with that line you questioned poor service from EME? well, That's "really smart."

oh i know. it's just funny how they process things. always love coming here when there's an emergency maintenance. it's like a huge daycare for infants every time.
This logic is ridiculous so I am sorry I do not agree since communication is a 2way street and EME has never been good at communicating. This whole well you are whining so now they are acting out against their pay customers just puts their actions in an even worse light since, according to you, they are not just being negligent they are being vindictive and being silent to spite their customer base.

I agree with Latza. They should post on the forums / main news page above any other social media. Not everyone uses Twitter... but thats EME for ya. Old EME (Minea, Harmonia, Tonka, etc) used to make news posts everytime there was a maintenence. Now however, they're too lazy to do that, might take a bit of effort.
What they should do is, if the servers are down, post a message on the launcher itself, and make the 'Play' button greyed out until the servers are back online.
I'm not even sure if they reply on facebook or post stuff like they used to. Last I checked their facebook feels more like myspace then those other social stuff. Bu tthen again I don't tweet or anything. Though I do miss original myspace, setup your own background layouts and add your music to the pages from the artists page links.
But yeah they did post several times in game like an hour or 2 before it went down and then every 5 or so minutes. A lot of game companies are moving away from their forums, like guild wars 2 which tends to hang out more on reddit then their own forums. And that has been going on for a couple years. It's that hipster mainstream stuff.
100% agree with Jiva. That's quite the good idea. Actually - didn't the old launcher have the play button grayed out during maintenance? I don't remember that far back.

But see most of us aren't in game all the time to see those announcements and yes I hate 90% of humanity. Think of how a virus acts in a living body. Humans do the same thing to the nature. We move in destroy and change everything to suit our needs/wants and when nature strikes back (floods, earthquakes, tornado's, ect) people cry to the government for help or [filtered] that nothing was done to prevent it. Idiot humans.
