Fix DFHM

Please Vera and Prima are totally broken, i did this dungeon with guile, i was complained at that it was trash gear that was the reason i was dying 200k thru blocks by Vera, i got full misery now, still dying to the same amount of damage and only to Vera, second boss and third boss are alright, it's just vera's insane damage, iv seen players with full behemoth +15 die 1 shot to a single poke from vera, he spams the poison every 5 seconds and it's impossible to dps, the whole ground gets covered on poison and he 1 shots everything, it's not even about gear or skills, i know it got buffed but it's literally overbuffed, ppl with behemoth is dying on my parties 1 shot to this, how can we do this dungeon at this level, plus the insane lag going on.

    This just means your group lacks damage, honestly if poison puddles filled up the floor.
  • Mainly the poison spam and the ridiculous damage of both bosses mixed together. And when you die to the Prima aoe, and get pushed into poison you can't res, and then it resets even if one person is up and you're almost done. It's just as bad as when it first came out and I thought it was supposed to be fixed already.
  • But so early in the patch, it's hard to do enough damage without deathwrack really, even misery isn't enough and ambush is a joke

    First boss is difficult because it relies on everyone doing their job optimally. If the tank gets hit by the poison too often, his endurance will slip a ton and you'll get "+15 lancers getting killed in one poke" shenanigans. So hop out of that stuff asap. It's quick, and it sucks.
    Meanwhile, your dps can help by killing it quick enough so that the room doesn't fill with puddles. The whole fight is a dps check. One person can really help by tanking the sorc somewhere nearby, but in my experience with randoms people are never willing to do this in IMS. They just wanna not-help at all and then blame the tank/healer when it goes south, even though a healer can only do so much if the tank gets too many debuff stacks and the rest of the team tries to dps in puddles like idiots.

    It's a tough fight. Stressful in IMS before the hp boosts, now it's something I'm kinda hesitant to do again myself. Good DPS are a lifesaver there, though.

    When the dungeon came out for first time i did hardmode on alts with slaughter, im skilled on it with all my 65's i dont need to get good when a boss poke hits me by 200k thru a block, that doesnt make sense.. I understand the poison thing and that we are lacking dps, but all of that dmg thru a block is totally unfair for a tank.

    That's not the 1st time DFHM was out. What we saw last patch was basically DFNM is the old HM and HM is that we had with vm6 in starfall. That dungeon was hell on earth and had no room for screwing up just like the current DFHM.
  • The problem with the dungeon is not even the second or third boss, they are fine, but it's just vera, his damage is higher than anything on the dungeon, i use iron will and i can survive a laser or a burn, but i cant even tank vera cus he will 1 shot me no matter what.

    Sounds like he's not poking through you, just a guess, more like you're not timing it right. I was running with a brawler and if he can tank...your lancer should be more than capable.

    Remove DF normal mode and hard mode, never bring that disgusting crap back to the game, this is better I think.
  • I time it correctly, im not a random complaining about a dungeon i dont know, i been playing lancer for years, i got always skilled on most of hard dungeons and im telling you, vera is broken, why dont you go into the dungeon to find out urself?
  • Not trying to sound snarky, but DFHM is now hard again. So there really is a bit of a "git gud" aspect to this but the whole party needs to also.

    I think people got used to how easy dfhm was in last patch. The current difficulty is somewhat similar to what we had 2 patches ago, so what we have now is what it should be. Also keep in mind that the bosses are not always enraged, so they will do more damage when not enraged. It's not just get good but the whole party kinda needs to be alert and not face tank like before. It's really important that you need someone (skilled/good) to know how to keep prima away (at least 18m) during the whole fight as best as possible and obviously decent dps from the party. That should be good enough as long as the tank times everything and puddle management is very efficient. It actually becomes a tank's nightmare to deal with that stage if someone doesn't do their job on prima and dps from party is not fast; worse of all running out of room for puddles management and other things starts creating bad chained events.
  • Im saying again, i got skilled on the dungeon when it came out for first time, and starfall was the main vm, and i was skilled on alts with crap gear and im not used to the "easy way" i said it already enough times, it's 1 boss that's doing more damage than it should, how do u find normal a single auto attack from the boss, not even a main skill or anything, hit by 200k while ur blocking, and then he suddenly starts moving around 1 shotting every person he touches, i got my party wiped in less than 10 seconds almost thanks to a random auto attack he did on the dps.. Im experienced on most of the new dungeons already and the only problem i literally had was just vera from dfhm. My party members agreed, the 3 times i did it, and cleared it on my lancer, always had the same problem, vera killing everyone like if we were lvl 60's doing the dungeon, the other bosses are just fine

    Don't stand in poison. It gives you a debuff that drastically reduces your endurance - and it stacks.


    edit: the debuff cannot be cleansed, so pls don't qq at ur healers if u stand in it and get 1 shot
