Edit: I still get pretty bad FPS on TERA, but that's what happens when a game isn't very optimized. Outside of Velika/Highwatch my FPS can soar up to 120+. In towns it's more of a range, sometimes it's 20, sometimes it's 50.
I get 80 FPS there too huehue
GTX 550 Ti, 8GB DDR3 RAM Core i5 3570K.
Your gear ain't shabby at all, in fact pretty epic. The deal is TERA isn't making much use of it, that's our big grief.
It's extremely comfy :-)
No noticeable lag my friend. Then again I'm not a professional gamer who makes a living from winning tournaments. If I was then, I may possibly notice a lower response rate in comparison to a monitor.
I'm a casual though and as far as I'm concerned, playing video games is about the EXPERIENCE. This is why I chose a large screen over a much smaller monitor (regardless of response times), this is why I chose a recliner over a office chair, and this is why I chose a CouchMaster over the typical desk. It comes down to the experience. Think of the reason why people go to the box office to see a movie oppose to waiting for said movie to be released for purchase so that they can watch it on their 4K Televisions at home. It obviously look better on the 4K HDTV but the theater offers an experience that you just can get from watch a movie at home.
Don't be my friend. My game room is the result of 2 years of saving/managing money. If you did the same you could potentially one day have a setup that would put mine to shame. Anyone who saves and manages their money can have what I have or even better.
Thank you :-)
I'm digging your specs by the way. Very nice. I plan on getting that same CPU and GPU one day. I also want to get a better looking case. Like I said, my setup is a work in progress.
Thanks for sharing.
The game is terribly optimized unfortunately. :-(
though you do have some interesting taste in art.....
how did you hit 80+?? anything that i should tweak or so?? coz tera only max 80fps lol
